From VGC: "The debut trailer for the title showed off the sports which will be available at launch: tennis, bowling, chanbara, soccer, badminton and volleyball.
The game will be released for Switch on April 29, but an online play test will be held from February 18-20."

I havent tried it myself but can you sync joycons to a lite? otherwise lite users will be missing out on this one.
This makes way more sense. When I was hearing 1, 2 Switch successor rumors I couldn't believe it. That was a glorified joycon tech demo. Fun for a few minutes and then you moved on.
Something about this game seems really off... it doesn't feel like Wii Sports. It feels like it was a different sports compilation that Nintendo decided to give a signal boost by giving it the Wii Sports surface-level veneer. But ... something is off about this.
No boxing or fencing kinda sucks but im sure itll sell just for the bowling.
I was really put off at first because the NPCs weren’t Miis, but apparently custom characters are? That helped with the nostalgia factor. Can’t wait to go back to Wii bowling, this time in HD!
