They lied multiple times to consumers and heavily manipulated what the game was supposed to be, going as far as changing the wording/genre of the game post-release. I'd say they blew it and its their own fault, no second chance is going to come from many. They're already moved on and are anticipating new releases worth their time.

I'd disagree, it wasn't the desired product at launch for last gen consoles but for most users on next gen it was fine, I held off playing as I want next gen version. Maybe played into it e or 4 hours then stopped. Never had any real issues with it.companies should always be given a second chance to make things right at least once, No Man Sky being an example of a mis step at launch that has been well and truly rectified with oddles of free content and upgrades and fan input. However if the next gen patches are half assed and buggy then for sure, it's going straight in the bin.

It depends on the person and how deeply they were connected to the hype.

I bought it on ps4 and thought it was OK at best, but I saw incredible potential. I stopped playing after around 10 hours, but definitely planning to give it a second chance on ps5.

That being said, I'm running out of patience. Over a year and still no gameplay or updates on the improvements? My giveadamn meter is dropping daily. Also, if they don't do something that blows me away after all this time, I may well be done with CDPR, as that would make me believe they are incompetent.

I couldn't have said it better that's exactly what I was thinking when I played it on PS4. The game was a mess but I saw tons of potential, I loved that everything you did had an XP meter

Look, if they can build it up to look like what they promised, why not? I 1000'd the game on Xsex and felt it was absolutely worth playing through. Just enough with showing what the games CAN look like and just show trailers of what the game WILL look like and you won't have nearly as much backlash.

Releasing a Full Game On a Nintendo Switch 2 Cart Makes Sense

Begone, game-key carts. Full cartridges just work better and here's why.

Game key karts are just digital games.....why keep up the facade

Profchaos2d ago

I didn't bother buying any game key carts for my system despite my preference being physical.
I brought the mkw bundle and that was a digital code but I wasn't going to pay double for the game
I got yakuza 0 digitally as the key card made zero sense to me it costs more and its just a digital game in disguise (I never sell my games anyhow)

...obviously. If a game is 64gb or less, it should release on card. If it exceeds 64gb, the key card comes into play. It does suck that Nintendo wont support smaller cards, SW1 games came on anywhere from 8gb to 32gb cards. The cost of using a 64gb card for a game that would fit comfortably on a 32 or even 16 may not be cost effective for some smaller devs. Hence the use of the key card.

Then again, its taking a page out of Sony's book. They mandated the use of DVD media for all games a few years after the PS2 released. Until then, they supported games on CD. Then when it came to PS3, no game was allowed to use DVD, they all had to be bluray regardless.

Now with PS5, they only use UHD media, no regular bluray for games allowed. Even if the game is smaller than a DVD. So i can see Nintendo trying to standardize their game cards. If devs dont want to pay for the use... the key card is for them.

why even bother buying one of the fake game cards? It's just going to be digital anyway. Save yourself the hassle of having to insert these fake cards and just buy it from the online store.

But I absolutely 100% do not agree with Nintendos take this generation. Forcing the new norm price point, and releasing a majority of their titles digitally with no sense of game preservation. Very disappointing.
