Man Builds $230K Flight Simulator

An amateur pilot from Sydney decided to shell out $230,000 to make the most realistic 747 simulator he could fathom without setting foot inside a real cockpit. Ten years later, this rig is powered by 13 quad-core Voodoo PCs. The simulator is displayed on a Philips Ambilight LCD screen, and is controlled by a Saitek X52 joystick and throttle.
