The 120fps mode looks great but there’s some pretty big drops here and there. I wish Sony would release a VRR update already!

The laziest “remaster” in the industry to date.

You clearly haven't played Assassin's Creed 3 remaster...

The Prototype bundle says hello. I’ve been very critical of this release, but even so, it is FAR from the worst remaster. There are so many worse ones in this industry. Prototype as mentioned but also stuff like Warcraft 3, Crystal Chronicles, and the list goes on.

I stand by the vote for Prototype being the worst. Full priced for ages, barely upgraded, no performance improvements.

Never played Prototype or it’s remaster. But it’s a real shame capitalism has driven us so far. I’m from an era where we openly shared and provided all sorts of modifications, full expansion packs etc for completely free. Because let’s face it, it wasn’t particularly difficult and people enjoyed your work.

Now we’ve got multi-billion dollar corporations with hundreds/thousands of staff charging people for someone to simply increase a slider in an engine creation tool taking one member of staff all of 2 minutes work. Because of this the flood gates will open and it will become the norm as everything seems to do these days. Such a shame.

This will not open any floodgates because we used to pay full price or almost full price for just resolution bumps and nothing more during the PS3 era and remasters didn’t start significantly improving visual settings until last-gen, and now this gen, a VAST MAJORITY of games have gotten free upgrades and with much larger differences than Uncharted. This release is a blip on the radar of an industry that has largely moved to free upgrades for visual enhancements.
