Apogee has just accepted a 5-million USD investment by eWTP Tech Innovation Fund

"Apogee Entertainment, the legendary developer-publisher behind Duke Nukem, Prey (2006), Max Payne, Wolfenstein 3D, Commander Keen, and many more, today announces the company has accepted $5 million in external financing—the first outside investment in Apogee’s history." - Apogee Entertainment.

The story is too old to be commented.

They still exist? What have they been doing all this time? Commander Keen was my jam.

A lot, they more or less roll-out their old IP's with today's standards, one after another.

More complicated than that it seems. The company originally called Apogee is now called 3DRealms and Apogee is a newer company that does what you just said.

- It has to do with licenses and corporate "stuff", but yeah...Pretty much. Apogee Entertainment started back in 2008, and it's more or less the new version of Apogee Software.
