Switch Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition physical release scheduled for Feb

The physical version of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for #NintendoSwitch will be available in stores on February 11th!

The story is too old to be commented.

"Requires online download". What a pointless release if the content isn't on the cartridge and you're just buying glorified plastic DRM.

You have a physical format in the box, put the bloody game on it you tools 🙄

Agree the trilogy in switch is 25.4 GB surely they could have released a physical version.

Personally I hate digital editions of GTA games because after 10 years they patch out songs maybe this will be different but who knows

Completely agree! There is no excuse whatsoever. Lazy porting! Looks like I’m going to have to pass on this altogether. Between all the glitches and problems with this trilogy, it’s not worth it. Like someone else said in here, better to just wait for new saints row. I will stick with saints row the third on the switch for now. Even looks much better than this half baked game. What a damn joke.

Faaaaaaantastic! I think my wallet will have a “glitch” though.

I can’t believe Rockstar couldn’t fit the whole game in one single cartridge. Will we need to download the latest firmware to access the download from the Nintendo store?

You always need the latest to download from the store.

I will give it a miss. Too much of a half baked port. Should have been possible to make it better on Switch - we have seen over the years what can be done and this m even with the fixes, still feels a missed chance to have a decent GTA experience on Switch. Better sticking to the Saints Row ports IMO.

Nah to download the games I am good if all the games were on one cart I would consider it also the trilogy is plagued with bugs no matter what platform. For right now I am happy with the trilogy I own on PS2 and OG Xbox they may look dated but they are still fun to play.
