To celebrate Hitman 3's launch on Steam and Xbox Game Pass, we're counting down the best Hitman games from worst to best!
Blood Money was the last Hitman game that I played all the way through. The newer ones just don't hold my attention quite like the classic series. I don't know what it is, but even with all of the technological advances, the levels all feel so dead.
I think the way how your limited in using tools and traps 🪤 to get your targets, because you got to unlock those items after beating a level. That’s how I felt with the new Hitman 1 and 2. In the old games you already have those tools 🛠 available, or you can get those items somewhere in the level. What I am trying to say that some scenarios in killing your targets are not available until you finish a level. There were times where I wanted to kill a target in a very creative way, but the item wasn’t available for me to do it smh 🤦♂️
My ranking is: Hitman 3 Hitman 2 Hitman Contracts Blood Money absolution Silent Assassin
I love Hitman Silent Assassin, Contract and Blood 🩸 Money 💰. Absolution was great, but it was a little bit of a departure from the older games. The newer ones are still great, but I feel a bit limited in an open level game.
I didn't play Hitman until the new titles, but damn are they fantastic games.
Gotta go with Ted on this one. Love the new trilogy.
The older hitmans just hit different. The newer ones aren't anywhere near as satisfying
I really do have a soft spot for Blood Money. A lot of it are reconstituted levels from 1 & 2, but it had (and still has) an extremely mature and disturbing feel to it, certain levels feel like a horror movie.
