Crows90832d ago

Gee I wonder why. They can't disclose the reason they say. That's concenring

Dir_en_grey832d ago

more people need to play this game so they actually understand how to deal with a pandemic and not make it worse. it is a shame that they are pulling digital versions.

specialguest832d ago (Edited 832d ago )

Maybe they could change the games name to Epidemic and re-release it to stay off of the radar. Hey look! It's not related to the cov

KingofBandits831d ago

Is this some sad attempt to get this game attention, or do people actually care about this? The art alone looks like those knock off toys they sell in drug stores, "Action Super Medic Men" lol

I don’t want to bond with friends so I play Gloomhaven currently in early access on Steam.
Though later it will have friend bonding implemented into the game, just single player for now.

I cant get into the Wingspan craze. I would probably replace it on this list with Scythe

Reminds me of when they delayed Motorstorm: Apocalypse because of earthquakes in Japan and New Zealand

tochi1543d ago (Edited 1543d ago )

Yeah, EPIC must be extremely ultra sensitive about what Chinese government cares.

This is a great game to properly educate public and advocate awareness to the situation like this, though.
Maybe that is why...

SamPao1543d ago (Edited 1543d ago )

Yeah that has nothing to do with the chinese government. This is for the press, so they dont have anything to attack them on. Also awareness of the families that lost somebody in this outbreak, just examples.

tochi1543d ago (Edited 1543d ago )

I meant this has everything to do with EPIC's awareness to Chinese government.
Just in case, I am anti dictatorship person.

MeteorPanda1543d ago

Okay what? Awareness for the families? How does them removing a game show some sort of solidarity to losing a loved one? What about these that die from all other illnesses? We can't have nice things cause it might offend? You can't be hurt by being offended, trust me I was offended the entirety of the Iraqi war in all forms of media and public opinion.

Get over that political correctness that's really a new form of censorship

SamPao1543d ago

@MeteorPanda I am not here to defend epic, just telling you why they probably do it.
When there is a tsunami for example a game that is about tsunamis gets delayed for a couple of months its really not rocket science.
Same with atomreactors. When there is an incident. A game about a atomfeactor that blows up gets delayed. Really how is that censorship? Its just they dont want the negative press and have empathy for the families that are involved. The game still gets released, just a bit later

SamPao1543d ago

you have absolutely NO evidence for that. Because the same thing happens when there is an earthquake, war, tsunami, anything with an atomreactor and so on
