"But the fact that the game gives you the freedom to do nothing is a few steps out of bounds."
Freedom is hated by many around the world.

It’s true. Some love being dominated by elites. You can even see it here on n4g.

GUYwhoPLAYSvideoGAME136d ago

what are you talking about, escpecially here on n4g.

SenorFartCushion136d ago

Only because most people don’t know how to identify elites. We have people in America asking to “drain the swamp” while voting Republican and Democratic voters treating Trump as the only conservative politician and their personal 9/11, while voting for Joe Biden, who has done as much damage as Trump.

At this point, the two party system in The US is an elitist movement. Normal people have nothing to gain.

@guy
Some people can’t function on their own and need to be ruled over. The recent thread about E3 had an abundance of compliant boot lickers lol. For example.

@senor
The whole 2 party sports team circus is an illusion. There is one party in DC and they screw everyone over. The media and corporations are their weapons for the gullible in question. The only way to win is not to play.

anast136d ago (Edited 136d ago )

Play Mario or Zelda or something like it, would be my advice to the writer. Some games are not made for everyone to emotionally and/or intellectually handle.

SenorFartCushion136d ago

Sometimes it’s not an intellectual issue.

Anast.

Maybe I was talking about myself😅 I can’t read today apparently.

Some of these are just reality, acting like reality or parts of history doesn't exist is not the "right" thing to do

DeusFever136d ago (Edited 136d ago )

“No Russian”, yes absolutely too far. There is no option that lets you stop the wholesale slaughter. The whole mission felt like shock value for the purpose of generating publicity.

The KKK in RDR2 was not going to far. Just ridiculous to criticize this. Don’t whitewash history.

Repjaws136d ago (Edited 136d ago )

So just because they didn't give you an option to stop it, it's going too far? Lol

P_Bomb136d ago (Edited 136d ago )

By my experience if you left the KKK alone, they’d just bungle up and kill themselves. Squished by a cross for example. I just saw them as little skits.

anast136d ago

I don't know which I disagree with more the article or "playing ostrich" with hate groups.

ChubbyBlade136d ago

You know you can just skip it right?

DeusFever136d ago

There’s always a first play though.

philm87136d ago

In "No Russian" there is literally an option that lets you skip it. I love things that genuinely shock you, but this one was obviously not for the faint-hearted.

bensonador135d ago

I agree with the general idea, but you have a mistake. In the first version of the game, you couldn't skip the level. After the reactions, a warning message was added first, and then the update for skipping the episode came.

Good old 80’s & 90’s too far wasn’t far enough unless you made news headline and got suit 🤷🏿😂
