New Wonder Woman Game Will Borrow Features from Shadow Of War

With the success of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4, Guardians of the Galaxy in 2021, and the Batman Arkham series, it’s clear gamers love stepping into the shoes of their favourite superhero. Any game that can really ‘make you feel like’ Batman, Spider-Man, or any other comic book hero often receives praise from both fans and critics. Now, Monolith Productions is stepping up to the plate, announcing their new Wonder Woman game at the 2021 Game Awards.

I liked the shadow games a lot too but they were brutal. WW isn’t going to have any of that, she’s probably going to have robot enemies and that’s wasted potential for the nemesis system imo. I think a different IP would suit the shadow team better.

Not my favorite but one of my favorites. I really respected WW and Diana through almost every release. In fact the only part of Superman vs Batman DCEU that I enjoyed was when she showed up.

Does it have to be a "favorite" character in order to have a game? Unsure what's the deal with this question. My favorite is Spider-Man, but I loved the Batman games, and I'm sure I'll love this one, Suicide Squad and Wolverine's too if they are good games.

No not really. I read “it’s clear people love stepping into the shoes of their favorite super hero” and I couldn’t think of one person who buys WW merch or toys or anything like that. I’m not attacking the character I’m just curious. I have never seen a WW fan adult or kid. There are a few here.

That’s cool, I can see where you are coming from. It seems there are quite a few fans here. Maybe I just don’t see it because I’m not a fan and I’m not paying attention. I don’t like Superman either but I see his shit everywhere, that’s why I asked lol. I didn’t know if WW had a big enough fan base to profit on a 5 year developed game lol.

Rocksteady doing suicide squad is “different” but I feel a bit like it’s wasted potential. I like rocksteady much more than I like suicide squad. I feel a bit the same about this game. I’m happy you are getting a WW game from a competent developer though. It’s a good thing.

She’s in my top 10, I don’t have any particular order to my list of favorite heroes though so she’s a legit favorite. I enjoyed her development in dark knight metals her golden goddess form was awesome. Dead earth was a solid read for an elseworlds tale and she’s always a great ace in secondary positions supporting a story.

Actually, they patented the nemesis systems so nobody else could use it. There was nothing stopping this game having a nemesis style system

Nice. The only reason why I enjoyed Mordor & Mad Max is because they were essentially remixed Arkham games, as far as the combat goes.

If that's the area of the gameplay they're referring to, I'm all in.

I feel this game will be restricted to Themyscira Island and the gameplay will be a cross between Batman Arkham Asylum & Shadow Of War. This game can be very promising if my theory holds any water.

Thanks for sharing this i was willing to install this game in my PS5 and after reading this post my willingness in increased and i am going to install it today.
