Far Cry 6 is another competent installment in Ubisoft's long-running franchise, but the game's lack of growth shows the franchise is stuck in a rut.
Far Cry debuted on March 23, 2004, meaning that next week, it will have been 20 years since Jack Carver first washed up on the shore of a tropical paradise teeming with hostile mercenaries.
I'd love a far cry pack with the original PC game (not the half assed port on ps360) instincts, predator even a port of far cry 2 to modern consoles back when these games had their own identity and weren't far cry 3 cut and pastel
Luke Ross's Far Cry 6 VR Mod is now available through his Patreon, adding 6DOF support and head aiming, but no motion controls.
Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.
Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩
Every Bethesda game and Every Halo game. This list needed to have Cyberpunk somewhere.
all of the triple a sequels that come out yearly and have added nothing in terms of game play and story worth playing are in need of a major reinvention. that goes for asscreed call of duty far cry battlefield and all the rest where you know its more of a cash grab rather than the release of a worth while game.
Hmmm... total redistribution of the perks system both hidden and thought the gui.
New ways to get vehicles and vehicles with new abilities to the series.
New ways to detect, locate, disable, so many easter egg abilities
New Guerrilla operations Missions for local resource procurement
And gee... the continuation post game Insurgency? I mean come on.
I think it went up a notch just fine and there absolutely is more to that list.
Reinvention? It's Far Cry. We are here for the Far Cry and like an old Namco Time Crisis game, each one and its spin off in-between gets a little tweak and new addition. This game got a huge one. Somehow you missed it.
Doubt that Ubisoft cares. On to the next Far Cry copypasta.
The whole company and its copy paste formula needs reinvention.
It'll never change until the sheep stop buying Ubisoft's repetitive games.
