Well dang. My 2070 super is almost the min. Req. With Ray tracing on. I'm not surprised just impressed they would use such a high cutoff if you want ray tracing.

It will probably work better than you expect. They always shoot high on the reqs so people will have padding.

ORIG: I find it weird that their AMD spec for Min and Recommended is the RX Vega 56...that's weird, when the jump between the RTX 2070 and 3080 is pretty massive. Wonder what the deal with that is.

The only Ray-Tracing capable cards below the 2070 are the 2060s i dont think that is an unreasonable cutoff, especially considering the recommended rt specs are a 3080. Seems to be a really demanding title

A 2070 required for 1080p with low ray tracing@30FPS. Better to have it off and bang out 60 frames. Must be without DLSS those specs surely as they seem too steep.

I know right. I didn't even know they had a RTX 3080 with 6GB? The only one I know it has 10GB of video memory. The biggest question is did they optimize the PC version 🤔

Hmm.. Well I kind knew that no ray tracing for me with 2060 super but it is still over recommended without RT and with dlss support I can up the rez prob to 1440p.

Wow, their RT specs are HEAVY. An RTX 2070 for 1080p30 and an RTX 3080 for 1080p60? Wheeewwwy. Hopefully this is for native res, as if it is 1080p with DLSS then I've got questions lol.

I've only got an RTX 3060Ti and like to play at 1440p with 60 fps minimum, generally more like 90+ on my VRR displays. I wonder if at least low RT at 1440p60 is doable on my rig. I definitely won't be going sub 60fps, so if it is between that and RT I guess, sadly, RT will have to go.

You could play it with a 3060Ti@1440p. I got that card too. Plus I'm sure it will have DLSS because ray tracing.

edit: Just checked and DLSS is officially supported on this game so those specs are overblown.

RT is a helluva pig. Looks nice but the ROI from a bandwidth perspective is garbage.

I'm honestly a bit shocked that they were able to manage a raytracing mode in the PS5 version for as demanding as the PC reqs are. Stuck at 30fps if you do it though. I'd probably forgo it for the performance mode.

I'm looking forward to this game. I hope it's at least near as fun as the first. That being said, it will have some issues at launch. These specs make me think optimization is going to he one of them. Hope I'm wrong. Definitely a game that I'm going to he waiting for and watching a lot of reviews before I throw the money down.
