Why are people disagreeing with you? Nintendo literally does this every time, lol...

I'm pretty sure somebody went to the trouble to make up and downvote bots for n4g. It's so stupid.

they do for fan remakes, not for tech demos in UE of one level

It's amazing to think what could be if Nintendo actually invested in their own IPs instead of always doing the bare minimum.

I think this is grossly unfair to the teams who worked on Odyssey and BotW. Those games, especially BotW moved the IPs in new directions. How would "investing in IP" make those above graphics in the video run on Switch?

Love it or hate it, looking at what was accomplished with BotW, every square inch of that huge world has exploration easter eggs. If anything, and even if you hate it, it is the least lazy game that has ever been made. They did not "do the bare minimum" with that game or Odyssey, or 3 Houses, or Dread, or Smash, or AC, or Luigi's Mansion 3, or XBC2, imho.

There are plenty of companies out there who do, do the bare minimum. They put out games every year with just new year numbers in them and tons of bugs. IMO, those games are doing the bare minimum. Heck, MOST games do the bare minimum. The Nintendo games I listed above, imo, did not. They did much more.

just ignore him, he only cares about fidelity, not about gameplay or aesthetic.

Did you even play BotW? Sure the world was richly detailed, but that is only one part of a game. The frame rate reminded me of N64, and it didn't even have a story.

This looks fantastic. Its just a shame Nintendo won't do this.

Looks awesome, wake me up in 20 years when Nintendo makes hardware capable of running this
