PS4 Firmware Update 9.03 Rolls Out for System Performance

Here are the complete patch notes for PS4 Update 9.03 released this December 1 by Sony this morning for system performance changes.

Just did it.. All is good.... Feels nice and smooth... Playing Black Ops Cold war and the menu seems slightly cleaner, less blurry, it's very light you might not even notice but I did because my monitor is high res and I was just playing the game before I updated, not sure how they keep getting better performance every-time but it's nice..

Please explain how these incremental performance upgrades have screwed up the PS4's operating system. I've only seen improvements over time, even if slight.

I have yet to see a PS4 update causing problems and I have had my PS4 over seven years. Most of the time the update takes about two to three minutes assuming you put your PS4 in standby so updates are downloaded when you are not playing your PS4.

Actually if you setup your standby to suspend a game you can restart that same game in a few seconds although if your game requires an internet connection you may have to restart that game but that depends on the game.

Using NioH as an example it is best to save at a shrine before suspending then when you restart all you have to do is reconnect to the internet which takes a few seconds.
