CCG writes - "Memories are important when dealing with traumatic experiences, and diseases like Alzheimer’s can be a tragic event for anyone. The topic of memory loss is dealt with in Team SolEtude’s Reminiscence in the Night, and while it’s a tale that’s limited by its length and linearity, it still manages to create a serviceable narrative experience that’s thought-provoking and mostly family-friendly."
Michael Kitchin writes, "Reminiscence in the Night suffers from being an incredibly brief experience. With a fairly heavy-handed tone, not a lot is really done with the premise. It has a fantastic look and really compliment's the main character's malaise. The soundtrack stumbles as they try to regain memories and your decisions do feel impactful. It's just a real shame it's over before the game really plants its feet."
Dave writes: "Reminiscence in the Night is best when it tosses the gameplay aside and concentrates on what it wants to say. It’s a dream-like novella about memory and its ability to lift us out of the dead-ends we create for ourselves, and - appropriately - it manages to stay with you after its short fifteen minutes is over."
