Rise of the Argonauts hits Australian shelves today

OXCGN reports that Australia gets Rise of the Argonauts earlier:

"Australia, along with Europe (not including the UK) will receive RotA on the 12th of December 2008, while the North American release date is 4 days later (16th December). Followed by the UK release sometime in early 09.

Rise of the Argonauts immerses players in a gladiatorial adventure set in a wondrously imagined vision of ancient Greece. lol I've never heard of this game before.. are there any reviews up anywhere?

Immortal Kaim5614d ago

Nope, no reviews yet. Probably due to the fact it is released in Australia first. It does take place in my favourite setting Ancient/Mythical Greece :)

Is it a 3rd person action game? I hope there are no quick time events!!!

I think I'll pass on this, seems like a decent game but anything that's not an AAA title I simply can't afford.

Been waiting for this game since its it was originally pushed back. I dont expect the greatest game of all time, but I do expect a good fun game. I am going to wait for reviews though, anything 6 and up I will try. After all Overlord only got 6s and I loved that game.

Yeah, I'm waiting for some reviews to give me an idea of what I can expect, though I expect this game to get mediocre scores I bet I will still like it.

The Five Greatest Romances on the Xbox 360

With Valentine's Day weekend now upon us, what better way to honour all the love-laden gamers out there than to take a look back on the greatest romances found on the Xbox 360.
