Paid for it on Playstation then someone told me it was free on Epic I am enjoying it. It will help ramp up my excitement when Wonderlands actually drops in 2022.
yea ... *they made it free on EGS for a limited time.
I also claimed it ... will go through it again for nostalgia's sake before that whacky Wonderlands drops.
It was my favorite part of Borderlands but re-releasing it on its own is probably going to confuse people into thinking this is the new game they announced recently.
Yeah I had no idea what was going on till I came here.
So it's a standalone game, but it's dlc from borddrlands 2 kinda released as a promo for an upcoming Tiny tina full game?
The approach's kinda akin to the situation of novice/new gamers browsing through their respective game store and landing on the game page of this standalone DLC and will end up buying it, under the presumption that its the actual Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and it's already been released.
I suppose most people who played B2 never played the DLCs (look at trophy and achievement statistics). It's for that audience to make it easier to prepare them for Wonderlands.
It's also about convenience. People know this DLC is amazing but you'd have to replay most of B2 to get to Lvl 30 for the enemies in this DLC and to get it to scale with your level properly you'd likely have to mess with True and Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode (New Games Plus modes) because it's too easy to become overleveled.
Trophy hunters will also buy this because there's a platinum. haha
Jupp, grabbed it on the epic store since its free there now. But doubt I will ever play it anyway since I played it a lot already in BL2.
