Halo Infinite's battle pass won't have dance moves for Spartans

Only one battle pass can be active at a time—sorry, no doubling up on rewards—but players with multiple passes will be able to swap them around.

Great to hear. Never was a fan of all this dancing crap they put in games nowadays.

Sciurus_vulgaris1296d ago

I personally don’t care for emotes. I hated the emotes of gears 5 MP. They emotes on taunts we’re either overly goofy or unnecessarily vulgar. I’m glad Halo Infinite doesn’t have dances.

Not at launch at least - and certainly not for free.

MadLad1294d ago

I mean, they'd have to exist in order for them to even be monetized, so let's have that first part enter the picture before we start making assumptions.

Limitedtimestruggle1294d ago

We only need one emote, the OG Tea-bagging! That’s it =)

Snookies121294d ago

Ehh, Halo doesn't really need stuff like that anyway. I like emotes, but it's not like it's going to damper my enjoyment if it's not there. I just want an option to change the announcer's voice in multi-player matches to Caboose from RvB. That would be hilarious... I know it would never happen, but I can dream...

"The story would have been expanded through yearly campaign DLC, so players would not have to wait for another mainline Halo title." ~ this seldom works
But I still think, they should've tried 1 last Halo sequel based on that slipspace engine, that they invested so much on but made for current gen only, before going all in on UE5.

Call me a cynic. But it seems that not even the people working in the studio know what’s the status of Halo.

They were going to add a BR mode, which then got cancelled, but now it’s a sequel to infinite, but may be a reboot of the first game?

It may be normal for development to be like this as super Mario galaxy started as cut content from Mario 128, which then became a tech demo, which became pikmin, which eventually became Mario galaxy.

But 343 or whatever they are called now-certainly don’t have a good track record so it makes me wonder what’s happening.

porkChop188d ago

The Halo: CE remake is a separate project from the Infinite sequel.

Knightofelemia188d ago

Maybe all the staff got laid off.

TheColbertinator188d ago

I'd be much more comfortable with the future of Halo if "343" or whatever they call themselves now were no longer in charge of the series.

WTF!!!? Can we add Tic-Tac-Toe, maybe Connect 4? How bout the card game Go Fish? Microsoft should shelve the Halo Franchise for 10 to 20yrs or sell it clearly they have no new ideas to take Halo forward and putting a "Hey gamer finish the game for us" mode and we can make more money off it and we can fire some more game Developers that we really don't even care about.......Microsoft is done even trying to make Halo a game worthy of even a little bit of our time.
