Inscryption is as consistently fun as it is surprising, with a wonderfully creepy story cleverly tying its ever-evolving mechanics together.
As someone who traditionally doesn’t get into card games heavily, Inscryption has proven to be a brilliant single-player game that I find myself thinking about a lot lately. Sure, like any other card game, there is a heavy reliance on luck that can lead to runs that feel doomed from the moment they begin, but when you get that run where you can build a deck you legitimately love, there is no other feeling like it.
Nintendo Switch eShop just went live with Screaming Deals sale with games at their lowest prices ever, including Ghost Trick and Inscryption.
"Inscryption is the card game that you will never want to stop playing once you get entangled in its magical and mysterious world!" Ray @ Thumb Culture
Just finished this game last night. I love deck-builders and roguelikes, so adding a bit of atmospheric horror to the mix was a nice touch. The game had a couple unexpected changes of "environment" that I disliked at first after loving the start of the game, but quickly came to appreciate it. I do not regret it at all and wish I could play it for the first time again.
