Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to different platforms sooner or later, and GeForce Now may have given fans a release date for its PC port.
June 1 2022 is the date Hopefully this saves ppl scrolling through a wall of text just to get to the date
One thing I love about n4g is that there's always someone willing to suffer the bs to save me some time. Actually appreciate it lol
It's honestly so annoying when journos stuff an article with a bunch of fluff just for one small piece of new information. One thing they specifically taught us in journalism school is that the newest and most important information is always in the first paragraph. Background info comes after. Too many journos always do it backwards.
It's pretty clear you're still in school or not a journalist if you're unaware why articles are deliberately written like that.
Id look into changing majors tbh, job prospects are slim in that field.
@plmkoh I graduated many years ago bud. I understand *why* they do it, I never said I didn't. That doesn't change the fact that it isn't good journalism. @annoyedgamer Yeah lots of big Canadian publications have shut down over the last decade. It's because the industry has been moving into the digital age. But a lot of publications haven't figured out reliable ways to monetize it.
I'll defend porkchop in this where he never said he does that or didn't understand it either. Of course everyone knows why they do this, but the critical information or at least the headline should be answered quickly and briefly, followed by supporting information. Same exact way a college paper is written with a thesis statement first, followed by supporting evidence.
thank you, you legend. That makes it a 2 year exclusive to playstation. Might've been extended due to PS5 and the next gen update to display the console (nobody had) power
The dates are just placeholders. For sure the TES VI date is wrong. It's coming out in 2024, but not on January 2nd. It'll come out March 25th 2024 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of TES: Arena.
November 11th 2026 give or take a few more re-releases.
Lmao for the 15th anniversary of Skyrim? Hey, at this rate you could be right.
I still think a lot of the dates are either placeholders or they used to be right a year or so ago and now everything has shifted due to games being pushed back a year or so. I don't think playstation games were meant to release 3 or so months after ps5 or we'd already see some of them released for pc right now like ratchet and clank and demons souls or returnal. Maybe they were right like if horizon forbidden west did release this year but it got pushed back. Just no one should take the list in its entirety as fact, and some games might never actually release on pc. Who knows.
Took them long enough. I thought the PC version was going to be released this year. First mod will likely be Tifa's huge breast mod
The first mods should remove the stupid sports bra and replace the shorts with appropriate underwear.
According to the leak more former Playstation only games and franchises are coming to PC. If true it looks like Sony is really stepping up their porting game. The console exclusivity is getting shorter only 6 to 12 months in the case of Returnal, Horizon Forbidden West, and Death Stranding Director's cut. Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection - February 7, 2022 Ghost of Tsushima - February 8, 2022 Death Stranding Director's Cut - March 1, 2022 Returnal - April 30, 2022 Sackboy: A Big Adventure - May 1, 2022 Horizon Forbidden West - September 30, 2022 Ratchet and Clank - October 3, 2022
Been saying this for a long time now. Sony wouldn't be making an official Steam page and hiring on a studio dedicated to making PC ports if they weren't planning to go hard on PC development. I know there will be people angry that Playstation "exclusives" will be coming more often, and with shorter windows, to PC, but these are just games. If you truly enjoy all these series, you should be happy more people have access to enjoy and support them.
This is all fantastic news if true! More choice for everyone. Seems like buying a high-end PC recently was a good choice, all those exclusives will run great. Less and less a need for a PS5 now. I just need to think what to do with my PS4 library… It’s huge, and I don’t have a console anymore to access it. Not that I play old games anymore. If there was an upgrade path from PS Accounts to PC, that would be bonkers. Might have to buy unfinished games again on PC… Or maybe I’ll buy a cheap PS5 in the future to access it.
My PS5 has basically just been a PS4 player, really. I played Ratchet and Clank, but the only "souls" game I really enjoyed was Bloodborne, so I passed on that. I got the free copy of Bugsnax but wasn't my thing, and I'm not about spending $70 for Returnal, so waiting for a drop in price before I grab it. Also probably going to PC, so. Astro was cool though. I will be grabbing the New God of War and HZD on PS5. Grab it on the cheap for PC down the road.
Pc is a universal platform, Sony would be stupid not to tap into the potential. Plus pc gamers love story driven games.
@Ps3360 these dates do not mean anything Horizon Forbidden west will not becoming to pc for at least 2 years.
Eh a bit far but it will come.
That's way waaay too far for a PC release , SE what holding you back ?
It has taken so long that I've lost a lot of interest and being only part one I'm not going full price. Some sale afterwards. When part 3 comes I'll prob be mummified. When releasing games in parts the max time for next one should be 2 years.
It is a sequel/reboot. Part 1 is a full game. By your logic Horizon Forbidden West should have released in 2019.
