The lockdown was a factor. However, a number of titles also got delayed from 2021 to 2022.

Too much same old, same old down at Nintendo. Still no Wave Race, Pilotwings, Stunt Race or F-Zero. Thinking back to N64, Snowboard Kidz, Blastcorps, 1080 Snowboarding etc.
