Ironically your comment only highlights why people like me who have paid full price for tons of games that I only played for a couple months, some more, but most even less & never played again , this is why we love Gamepass= We get to play more than we ever would AND IF you love any 1 game by the time its leaving Gamepass it will be just a few bucks to buy.

They do - it’s in the terms and conditions stating games may leave and enter the service. This is standard for content subscriptions like game pass, Netflix etc.

Now, will anyone actually care / still be playing this game in 4-5 years when we have a plethora of new, better looking next-gen only Forza games? Probably not many.

Yeah ofcourse. Basically to take all hype away from what's presumably one of the best open world racers, they tell everybody hey!!! This game will leave GP IN 5 YEARS. It’s a first party that uses licensed titles after several years they get removed but the newer version is usually out. And if not like with Forza 7 you can pick up the game for just a few bucks. This is how licensing work I’m sure everyone here knows that and if not MS gives plenty of notice so you can buy digitally before it’s removed for a very cheap price.

In short yes they do tell people ahead of time and it’s super cheap to pick up at that time.

Likes gamepass, but doesn't make full use of it. Disregards you get many substantial discounts via the service, thus you can play these longer games for sometimes even over a year and, if you didn't get your fill, you can then get it discounted straight through gamepass, or simply then buy it used. Either of which you've saved yourself money over just buying it outright early on.
Avid PC gamer, but constantly bashes everything about it, and champions storefronts like EPIC's, even though they're trying to destroy the openness that comes with the platform.

Essentially he's a thinly veiled only Sony who, while he may play other platforms, he definitely is highly biased towards Playstation and uses his questionable stance of neutrality to subtly troll virtually every other platform out there.

Why would a long haul game / a game that doesn’t have a quick max gamer score mean you have to buy it?

If you’re already subbed to GamePass, clearly the GamePass version is better value than a full price game purchase.

I think the idea if anything like me is that, long games to beat are risky to play on gamepass, as some people don't play 1 game all the way through non stop. Example, I've been playing persona 5 royal on and off since the beginning of the year. Don't think it applies to forza. Not sure how they do those games on gamepass. But I know I've had the issue with PS Now where I'd be playing a game on and off and it gets taken off before I beat it or platinum it. It's a issue for people who don't sit for a month on only one game and then go to another. Like I'm have way through tales of Arise, 2/3rds of Persona 5 Royal, Yakuza like 20 percent, FFVII integrate I wanna do another playthrough, returnal like half way. Kena in the last few parts before the final. But then I didn't start last of us 2 which I got on ps now which expires Jan and I'm sure I won't get through it in time lol. That's the kind of thing I assume they mean.

^^I get what you are saying but in the case of GP, you can still play the game even after it leaves the service. And you dont have to uninstall and reinstall. I have done that with multiple games that i used GP to install and start and then later bought a physical copy of (for cheap). I love that xbox treats the game data the same regardless of if you rented it from GP, bought it digitally or installed it from a disc. I wish the PS4/5 did that.

It Takes Two and Forza are good gets. Wish that the GTA trilogy was also on PC gamepass as well.
Almost debating shopping around for a Series X, just so I can have full access to all the BC titles it nets you, as well as the more modern games that don't see availability on PC gamepass, for whatever reason.
Even a cheap One X would be a good investment.

There's been a couple times now that I wanted to play a console GP title, but was too lazy to go upstairs to my game room. So I just played the console title through cloud on PC.

Resolution took a hit and there was some artifacting, but generally OK. Probably not a perfect solution since you likely wanted to see the 4k improvements of GTA.

But it might save you the $500 investment for a little bit.

That’s a very strong month. GTASA is of course legendary and It Takes Two is one of the best coop games I’ve played - definitely try it out, really good for couch coop too!
