All I Want For Christmas Is A PSP

Valve’s Steam Deck runs Horizon Zero Dawn like an oversized Vita.

mynameisthumper1305d ago

December can't come fast enough!

FlavorLav011305d ago

I hope to be doing the same by January. Got steam deck pre-ordered, and I got Zero Dawn on PC last night actually

Fist4achin1305d ago

I still rock mine on occasion!

DarXyde1305d ago

Vita is criminally underrated.

Persona 4 Golden alone was reason enough to buy one.

Teflon021305d ago

Persona 4 Golden was the first game I've done like 5 playthroughs of since I was a kid just because. Game is amazing

NotanotherReboot1305d ago

Yeah got one but prefer the PSP

Unknown_Gamer57941305d ago

I have both, and still love them both.

blackblades1305d ago

I still have my vita with games I need to finish or start. I want to play them but console and phone got me good maybe one day though

DarXyde1304d ago

Much agreed, Teflon2. Truly an excellent game. I think that was the game I've beaten the second most number of times out of every game I've played (#1 goes to MGS3 which I've 100%'d across PS2 by way of Snake Eater and Subsistence, PS3, and almost 100% on Vita).

I don't know how many times I've beaten P4G exactly, but that was the game I would beat, play a new game on consoles, then go right back to it. More times than I care to remember. Just a beast of an experience I happily revisit every year at least twice.

I still have my launch PSP and launch Vita. It's been some time since I last played either of them but the Vita is still my favourite handheld. Can't wait for the Steam Deck though

I got mine still. Soyny made a big oof for abandoning the PSP.

Chaos_Order1305d ago

I have a PSP and Vita! Still play them from time to time. Great little systems!

Profchaos1305d ago

Grab a Vita homebrew it and you can get upressed PSP games running at a better frame rate and do it for $50 odd at this point

MrNinosan1305d ago

Still playing Crisis Core at least once a year ♥️

andy851304d ago

Still got that and the Vita. Always remember seeing them in niche game shops in late 2004 and being in amazement until I got mine

Vita was suuuuch a sick console. Gravity Rush, Need for Speed, Killzone Mercenary. Loved 'em!

bouzebbal1305d ago (Edited 1305d ago )

Tearaway Wipeout LBP Uncharted.. it’s the dreamcast of portables.. and Sony Killed it for their idiotic decisions.. sony also did kill DC but with ps2 with great collabs and software

Sirk7x1305d ago

Mod one, and you have the entire PSP library at your disposal as well, along with fantastic PSX emulation.

ScootaKuH1304d ago

Freedom Wars. I never did finish it!

TheEnigma3131305d ago

The Perfect Handheld Gaming PC Doesn’t Exist

Shaz from Pixel Swish: "From the Asus ROG Ally X to the Lenovo Legion GO to the Steam Deck, we’ve gotten a lot of PC handhelds over the past few years. However, for as impressive and exciting as these PC handhelds are, they all fall shy in one way or another from my dream device."

Valve Makes Up for Steam Deck Repair Delay by Gifting Free Game

Valve gave a user Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for free as compensation for the long wait during their Steam Deck repair.

UltimateOwnage10d ago

I had a similar experience when I initially pre-ordered my Deck. There was an issue during shipping and they offered me a customer service perk for the hassle and let me pick any game on Steam. It was super nice of them. I got a copy of Rime.
