Underwater swimming is often dire, but occasionally awesome. I enjoyed it in a few more recent games, like Uncharted 4.

This was one of my favourites of last gen. I am looking forward to getting back into this world... I have a feeling it is going to look great with all the performance of the PS5

That one combat clip where she's sliding, grappling, gliding and using her ability is nothing short of amazing.

There were a lot of those similar moments in the first game with traps, sliding around and all the elemental damage that just made the game feel awesome to play.

One of my most anticipated games next year.

I honestly didn't like zero dawn that much, but forbidden west looks amazing. I finished zero dawn just to understand whats going on in the sequel. I feel like guerilla games really stepped their game up this time around and we're just getting started in horizon zero dawn.

I just finished it and it’s very original and amazing in most parts. It gets a little repetitive at times IMO though.

Lol why are you blaming xbox fans for your downvotes? Pretty sure it's ps fans who are disagreeing with you cause you don't like a ps exclusive. I actually thought horizon zero dawn was one of the top ps exclusives last gen and can't wait for the sequel. I have a friend who is a die hard ps fan and he wasn't a big fan of it either, every game ain't for everybody. Xbox does make good games.

Horizon Zero Dawn was also my game of last gen but for the sake of this gen I hope you're wrong in that Forbidden West might be your game of this gen....we've got many years to go this gen and the real meat of the ps5/series x exclusives for this gen have yet to hit so if a cross gen game gets game of this gen, that is not great imo.

I'm more hoping once Sony moves past the cross gen completely, what we see from some of their studios like Insomniac (Spider-Man 2/Wolverine) and Naughty Dog, just to name two, will blow our minds with gameplay advancements/environmental design. Microsoft is moving on from last gen in 2022, Sony presumably will move off it once HZD and God of War come out.

That dev blog was a great read. Sony definitely should do this with all their first party titles. Reminds me of the days I use to buy ps magazine. The demos were a bonus.

Wish the game was out all ready I am just itching to play it along with Ragnarok and Spiderman 2. I enjoyed the first Horizon game the DLC was also great I had fun grabbing the platinum trophy for it can't wait to grab the platinum in Forbidden West.

The fact that the PS5 version looks this nice and still has a 60fps mode is encouraging for future open world games.
