Review - Disciples: Liberation (PS5) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Thomas Medina: "Disciples: Liberation was a game I started out intrigued by. It seemed my thing, and I wanted to like it. After I started playing it though, I moved from wanting to like it to simply wanting to like something about it. Eventually, I ended up just playing it to get through it, which is the death knell for any game. After all, if a game’s not fun, what’s the point? With Disciples: Liberation, I just don’t know. I found the combat repetitive, exploration dull, and RPG mechanics generic and wasted on the rest of the game. This is just one of those times where there’s so many other better games, and I just can’t suggest this one over them. Like King’s Bounty II for example, now that’s a strategy RPG worth sinking hours into. "

They just giving deathloop away. I was about to download it on my X or 5. But now I’ll try it on my deck to see if it will even catch my eye

Getting deathloop and a dark pictures game for $12 is impressive. These are the kind of deals that make up for the extra hardware costs of splurging on a gaming pc

Yeah, been itching to buy it for my deck too, but having it "free" on my series s or ps5 was just making a purchase sound stupid. Now . . . might scratch that itch. Other games are a bonus.
