Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of October 4, 2021 to October 10, 2021. Metroid Dread for Switch was the highest selling new game last week, debuting at 86,798 retail sales. Far Cry 6 followed at 34,219 sales on PlayStation 4 and 16,686 on PlayStation 5 for an opening week total of 50,905 retail copies sold.

Nintendo is on another level in Japan!
They dominate Hardware and Software.
