Sorry but I wanted single player story and presentation it was never about the graphics.

I’m just happy to have a coop game in ps5 to play with my friend, PlayStation has lots of single player titles if that’s what you are looking for. Try tales of arise it’s good.

Glad they are improving the clarity while keeping the style, it just looked out of focus/blurry in the Betas, looking forward to the next Beta.

they should improve the graphics of Bayonetta 3

Lexreborn257d ago

They won’t be able too, that hardware ain’t allowing it.

Bayonetta 2 for Wii U, looks fantastic. The Switch port looks great and it runs at 60fps. There are plenty of games, that look great, on Switch. Do you even have a Switch?

Lexreborn257d ago

I have a switch and a switch lite, and naw, they look exactly as expected. And I’m not going to lie to myself at the underwhelming graphics that Bayonetta 3 had at that presentation.

It clearly wants to do more then what was done in Bayonetta 2 and 1 but it doesn’t have the horse power to achieve great fidelity, textures and design, the environment looks like DMC3 HD buildings.

The character models look like PS3 generic soldiers. Even if it plays good and you love it won’t changes comparatively other games of the genre like DMCV that looks leagues and bounds better.

No other company than Nintendo would get away with selling a low-spec system like the Switch. It's fine for cartoony games and particular styles of games (to a certain extent), it's shit for everything else.

I used to desperately want a PS4-XB1 like Zelda and even Mario because I love those franchises and Nintendo could make spectacular looking games while still retain the essence of those series.

Yeah, I would much rather have gotten a Scalebound or Bayonetta that would have the graphics quality of say Demon Soul's Remake (even if the PS5 is capable of much more than that).

But hey, I guess it comes down to subjectivity. If a large enough audience is happy with what Nintendo is offering, good for them I guess...

Bayonetta 3 looks amazing and it’ll have the gameplay to match.

BrettAwesome57d ago

Based on what? The four years of nothing we've seen? At this point, it might as well be Metroid Prime 4

gamer780457d ago

Bayonetta has basically looked the same since bayonetta 1. It’s a good game but it is held back by being on the switch.

iplay1up257d ago (Edited 57d ago )

Bayonetta 2 looked great, and that was on Wii U. Switch runs it at 60fps. If 3 looks as good and has kick ass gameplay as good as 2, I will be VERY happy. Bayonetta 2, definitely looked way better than Bayonetta 1.

Bayonetta 2, has a 92% metacritic rating for Switch.

gamer780457d ago

Not better than bayonetta on ps5 and Xbox series x though, even though it’s not true 4K it’s easily the best looking bayonetta.

Germaximus57d ago

yeah Bayo 2 was beautiful on the Wii U and Bayonetta 3 literally looks worse than 2. it makes no sense

Graphics are the least of the games worries

CrimsonWing6957d ago

I mean yea there’s more wrong with the game, but the least of its worries… eh, they’re an eye soar, man.

Viking_mo57d ago

So they're still sticking with the live service game?
