Also joining are Amnesia: Collection, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Yet Another Zombie Defense, Victor Vran: Overkill Edition
That's a great lineup
Welp, guess it's finally time to delve into LoU2. I don't like the direction they took it, but it's definitely worth trying. Victor Vran is a lot of fun. And I know it's still cool to hate on 76, but it's actually a pretty fun time nowadays, after many of the issues have been fixed, and they added actual NPCs and more RPG elements. It's a deeper RPG than Fallout 4 at this point. Either way, a lot of solid gets for Now.
Wow. "I don't like the direction they took it, but it's definitely worth TRYING." People are totally allowed to not like TLoU2, that's fine. But how the hell are you going to not like something without even having TRIED IT. SMH
The first game is literally one of my favorites, a lot to do with the story. Knows the outline of the sequel and doesn't like how they took the narrative. Willing to give the game a go, but already knows they won't like the story. Yes. So hard to put two and two together.
It's a story driven game. If you've already been spoiled the story and now all the details or most of them then you don't actually need to play it to know if you'll like it. I'm sure he'll like the gameplay of course. Also the graphics and voice acting.
This is the INTERNET. Everybody knows everything.
"But how the hell are you going to not like something without even having TRIED IT. SMH" What if I offered you my used underwear and you refused...and I responded with "How can you determine that you aren't interested in wearing my used underwear if you haven't even tried it on!?" You don't always need to "try" something out to determine that it isn't for you.
@Boseman3 Spam account made 1 hour ago, likely made by Zmorin18 (recently banned). The word "pathetic" best describes you, mate. Can't believe you've been at this for well over a year now.
@LOGICWINS ***"What if I offered you my used underwear and you refused...and I responded with "How can you determine that you aren't interested in wearing my used underwear if you haven't even tried it on!?""*** What kind of false equivalency is that? A person not wanting to wear a used underwear has nothing to do with the quality of the underwear itself, but the fact that wearing a used underwear from someone else is unsanitary. Wow man
@Outside_ofthe_Box Right? Where were these children educated that they can't even make a coherent argument without reducing it to ridiculous non sequiturs?
It's very easy to look up the story online. He said he doesn't like the direction they took. He didn't say he doesn't like the game. Which is why he is going to try it now. He will likely not like the story, because it sounds like he already knows what happens. But he might still enjoy the game overall. This isn't rocket science.
Oh no welp, you just might like it.
There's a but of misdirection in the advertising I actually didn't like what I saw in the previews or ads but once I played it I found it pretty enjoyable. Also I just picked up 76 for under $5 I'm a fan of the series and so far I'm about 25 levels in and I still have mixed feelings about some things in the game I've been playing it entirely solo and it's felt alright some days I'm loving the game other days it's boring depending on the quest I'm grinding out it can be either a true fallout style quest or wow grind fest quest. It's not anywhere near as good as a single player fallout enemy levels are frustrating seems that enemies everywhere just match your level or exceed it (going back to even the starting zone will bring with it super mutants that are ammo spunges) fast travel can get expensive and there's still a fair few bugs like enemies in t poses, everything is super expensive you need to get resource management to a fine art and you're forced to do things like building your camp to farm things like adhesives and usable items which was my most hated part of fallout 4 but there's something enjoyable about it.
Criticize one game because the story doesn't cater to his feelings. But has no problem defending a game like fallout76. Never change Teddy.
I had the platinum in less than a month after it came out .. it was the only highly anticipated Sony game during the entire PS4 life cycle that I had .. 10/10 from me
Was thinking of getting PS Now lately. Then they add TLOU2 now? Hmmm 🤔🤔. May break soon.
Honestly there is no reason not to get PS Now. For $60 a year if you pay up-front (Most of time you can find a discount online as well), the price of ONE video game, you are getting access to hundreds of games, with 2-3 new additions every month. Even if you only play 20-30 hours total from the service A YEAR, it's worth the price. Yes, 100% it's not anywhere near the value and quality of GamePass considering exclusives are included and many Day 1 third party games launch on that service. But it is a really great value nevertheless. It should be evaluated on it's own, not just compared. I own both services and it's roughly $200 a year well invested. I probably buy 70% less games than I used to just because of the variety and quantity between the two services. Only if it's an IP that I'm dying to play on release.
WOW! This totally proves that TLOU2 is an abysmal FAILURE and Angry Joe was 100% right to completely trash it like the garbage it is BEFORE it came out due to the leaks! Only terrible games end up on PS Now according to the internet! 0/10, even though I've never played it. I'm basing my negative opinion on those leaks and other people's views!
Seems people don't understand sarcasm when it's obvious, but yes I agree with you. People say it sold shit even thou most of us know it's not true, and PSNow is just shit even if we who actually subscribes to the service know that's not true. I'm a happy subscriber to both GP and PSNow and happily so. PSNow has given we loads of great games to play, and so did GP aswell, at least with Octopath Traveler and Yakuza Like a Dragon.
Someone gets it
Go look at the sales numbers and get back with us. It’s definitely not a failure.
TeamicoFan, you did not need 😉 at the end of your post. I was so cristal clear your post had sarcasm all over it. And yet lot of posters toke the bate, hilarious😂
You off your meds, bro? lol .. You must be making a funny then, lol
Take out the last of us and this is really poor. Also last of us an exclusive game on their gaming service is only available for 3 months..... Seriously?
It's only there for 2 months, and most high anticipated first party had 2-3 months. And that's fine. People will still buy those amazing games and support Sony, and Sony give the ones who doubt a 2-3 month rental. And it's not the only good game in the list. FallOut 76 is "good" nowadays, Final Fantasy VIII a masterpiece. Yet Another Zombie Defense is awesome with friends. Amnesia Collection perfect for the horror gamers. Desperado 3 is "good" aswell.
Desperados 3 "Overwhelmingly Positive (97% of 5,754) ALL TIME"
I find it interesting people still are denying the value and progress of Psnow. I’ve tried PS now since it released and off and on I would use it in the beginning but the asking price was a bit high. Once it hit PS4 the value sky rocketed for the application. The downloads option made it a great option. And since they have upgrade it’s streaming to PC, Mobile and increased the output to 1080p. It includes online and at 60 bucks a year. And people still drag it, it’s absolutely baffling. But, in the end I don’t care because I have both. I have been noticing the issue though with 3rd party games. They seem to volley games from one service to the other especially on bigger titles. Almost as if, they are just taking the higher bidder for the games but overall playing the favor of both. I say give it another 3 months and Scarlet Nexus will be on PS now. And most of the indies have already been jumping back and forth. If this is what they are doing, I wish they had cloud saves between that would be a great thing for 3rd parties to try.
TLOU2 is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.
Cool. People can use the 7 day trial to beat TLoU2.
Sony and any other company is fine with your proposal "While it's common for internet companies like Amazon (AMZN) to offer free trials, 48% of respondents say they have forgotten to cancel a free trial before being charged by an auto-renewal."
I actually noticed they cancelled the PS Now trial and asked PS support about it yesterday. They said people were abusing it but you still have the option of getting a refund within 2 weeks if you aren't happy with it. It's too expensive and useless to forget about :D
I might get the PSNow trail just to beat MGS4 real quick again. How is input lag these days?
It has been good on the games I've streamed but I'm also on a PS5 so I don't know how much that makes a difference with PSNow
I’m on PS5 as well.
I'm playing a lot of PS3-games (on the PS5), but have 1000/1000 internet. Not that it's needed, but sure helps with a stable and fast connection.
Ps now also has metal gear solid, red dead 1, fallout 3 and new Vegas. A year for $60 is well worth it.
Susprisingly good! And certainly much better than Ps Plus 🙄
I guess it is time to dive into the hype not having ever even loaded up the first TLoU. I've also had Victor Vran on my Steam wishlist for years so I might give it a spin. Oh and Deperados 3 is overwhelmingly positive on Steam so it might be time to shut myself in for winter a little early.
Is PSNOW like Game Pass??
Yes, basically. The biggest difference is that no games is release day on day on PSNow, however there is way more games to chose from and many of the best PS-games from the past. Both services can be streamed to phones and PC.
Nice. I might look into that if I can find a deal.
