Face-off by Digital Foundry : The Medium is an interesting game for sure - one we've covered in the past on both Xbox Series consoles and PCs, but I must admit, going into this one, I didn't expect the PlayStation 5 port to see so many changes from the existing console versions. Just about every multi-platform project we've seen so far on the new wave of consoles has seen effective feature parity between Series X and PS5 because, after all, they are very similar machines at the architectural level. However, with The Medium, Bloober Studio appears to have rebalanced the game to produce something very similar but also quite different to the original Series X release.

Bloober Team has announced that it will turning its psychological horror game The Medium into a TV show, though no details were provided.
I wonder if the TV will lean heavily on that same split-screen mechanic. Not sure if it would work, but it would definitely be interesting.
For the first time ever I feel like a tv show could be infinitely better than the game. Man that game was a dumpster fire of boredom.
I do think there's nice untapped potential for a Tv show with a six-sense vibe.
Call me crazy but I'm one of the few who did enjoy the plot of the game and finished it.
Was it perfect hell no but nice and refreshing hell yeah.
Hmm. That actually makes a lot of sense. I could see the dual reality split screen being used in some scenes. That would provide some pretty incredible visuals that we don't normally get in films or tv shows.

$30 for Crusader Kings 3 for the PS5 is a great deal. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
PS5, lowest resolution 1620p
Series x, lowest resolution 1026p
to obtain a much higher resolution for the PS5 version, some sacrifice's were made to raytracing / shadows & lighting quality, while initially the xbox version had bad frame pacing issues, they were later patched out, the PS5 version suffers from the same bad frame pacing issues and will hopefully also get patched out with a later update, the overall performance on the PS5 is a locked 30 fps even in demanding areas, while on the series x it can suffer dropped frames in more demanding areas
its clear they approached the PS5 version very differently, and wanted to achieve a much higher resolution while at the same time sacrificing as little as possible in terms of overall visual effects
Xbox series x ssd > ps5 Ssd. 😁 so much for the super fast ssd.
Alex should only talk about Microsoft games. The length he goes to try and defend Microsoft. Bottom line much lower rez and worse frames. The ps5 is just much better on rez and frames. You can say this in 4 or 5 lines... But the rt and shadows.... I think this dude should never ever again talk about shadows and lightning because he clearly doesnt understand...
Long story short: it's better on PS5...but equally boring.
There is ZERO excuse for this game NOT to run at 60fps, given the graphics of this game.
It's disappointing to see that some developers just don't have the talent to achieve this in this day and age.
