The on-going Tech Preview for Halo Infinite has been extended to all Xbox Insiders for the upcoming 2nd weekend.
Great news! The game looks amazing and play great. Most fun I’ve had since Halo 3. https://www.resetera.com/th...
Woah... Halo:Reach was far superior to Halo 3 multiplayer. :P
I was busy this last weekend so i missed out but I wont miss out on Sep 30 - Oct 3
I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. I went in not expecting much and come out highly impressed. BTB should be even more fun!
I’m loving the way this game feels. It feels like the natural follow up to 3, more so than even Reach. It’s very refreshing as someone who has had trouble getting into MP games these days.
The game is 4k native or not?
It is, depending on the system / mode. 4k/120 (performance mode) Series X 4k/60 (quality mode) Series X 4k/30 (quality mode) for XB One X 1440/60 (performance mode) XB One X 1080/60 Series S 1080/30 XB One
and yet some people trying to convince others that the SS is far better than the OneX.
Just care about the X. Because they are talking on forums that it is dynamic. Not native 4k. I was saying that's a lie, but many were saying I was wrong...
@badz149 - Series S is currently limited to 60fps during the Beta but they are looking at putting it at 120fps on release.
If anyone wants in the upcoming tech test let me know I have an extra friend code.
It's crazy the Beta is arguably the best MP Fps
I tried the Vanguard beta and it was garbage. Deleted it and thankfully got a refund for my pre-order. I’m sure BF2042 will be great but it’s not really my thing. After trying out the Halo Infinite tech test I’ll definitely be playing the full game this holiday and likely long after.
I got an invite to Halo Infinite’s second flight. However, I can’t play due to moving and having to rely on high ping satellite, semi-data gap internet. Hope those who got in are enjoying the game.
Have you considered Starlink? It will handle online gaming fine but I think there’s a pretty long wait list.
My friend, who lives in a small rural, northern Canadian community has starlink. He gets downloads speed between 60-300 mb/s and uploads speeds of 20 mb/s. While ping is around 40-60 for him at least. I did a down payment on a starlink kit about 3 weeks ago. I have not not gotten a shipping notice, as of yet. My current statelite internet is unstable, and the ping is crazy high, usually 600-700.
That’s crazy. Starlink will only get better over time. Hopefully you’re able to get one eventually because what you have now sounds terrible with 600+ ping!
It is terrible, monthly payments are same as starlink. My internet speed which is “25 mb/s” is unstable as speeds fluctuate widely. Aldo after 100 gbs of data speeds are limited to 2 mb/s.
Really sucks you can’t try the tech test out. It’s tons of fun. Hopefully you’ll get Starlink soon and be ready to play some online games. Congrats on the move though!
@Sciurus_vulgaris I have starlink in rural Canada. I get speeds from 75-185 mbps. And a ping in the 30-70 ms range. All with load as I have 3 HD cameras constantly recording to the cloud. It has improved a ton since the beta was originally launched and now downtime is pretty limited. Unfortunately for me the local telco provider is putting fiber in my rural property next week, so I will switch to a fiber 1.5 gbps link. So, essentially I wasted my money on starlink. But it has served me well until now as I used it for the past year to telecommute when at my second rural home.
I thought they had already said this, as they eyes asking everybody to get in?
Just extend the preview til launch. There isn't a better shooter currently out.
Like make it the official early access version?
Yeap might as well
Yep, Insider Phil's ass....har har. It's ok....see you when I'm allowed back
