Damn, Capcom is never going to stop milking RE 4.

Marcello30d ago

This wasnt Capcom`s idea, it was Oculus who did this after they went to Capcom to ask for RE7 on PCVR. Capcom refused but let them convert RE4 instead.

XbladeTeddy30d ago

And who told you that then?

TakeTori30d ago

There's no excuse for not releasing this on PC VR as well. If people have a good PC and a Rift or an Index, they can run this game.

You can usually play occulus games on vive with Re-vive app.

cartoonx130d ago

yea but i think its exclusive to quest, which is weird. hopes it come to pc vr aswell.

PapaBop30d ago

Exactly, it's a slap in the face for Rift owners, it makes no sense to make it quest 2 exclusive.

Eonjay30d ago (Edited 30d ago )

Yeah this is probably a timed exclusive. PSVR 1 could proably run this and PC VR for sure can run this. And why would Facebook/Oculus want to cut off its PC users?

I just bought an Oculus Quest 2 this weekend. Definitely going to try this out

Does the Quest 2 make you dizzy and sick after playing like it does me? Idk why, but my fragile 64-bit mind cannot handle it

VR sickness and VR legs are definitely real things to overcome during your initial forays into VR. But like sea legs, the vast majority of people get over the nausea after more time spent in the VR world.

The only important tip is to stop whenever you feel ill, don't push through thinking it'll get better. Take a break and come back when you feel better.

CR7JUVE189730d ago

I haven't opened it yet, so I won't know. I think the fact that it isn't tethered to anything will help me a great deal if I want to play lying down. It took me a while to get used to the PSVR, even on the pro. It was marginally better than your standard PS4, but using it on the PS5 has helped it out even more. I still do get moments though, mainly because I usually go 1 or 2 months in between using it.

cartoonx130d ago

its only very noticeable in games where you have to use joystick for movement and does not have teleport option, it does take some time to get use to.
However i havnt gotten use to that in 6+ month now. so i just dont play games with locomotion other thn teleport.

Profchaos30d ago

It's probably a timed exclusive no reason why this wouldn't hit psvr also

Neonridr30d ago

we said the same thing about RE7 in VR.

As a PSVR owner, I'm very jealous of this one, but we got RE7 so fair enough. Hurry up PSVR 2 so we can really leap forward.

cartoonx130d ago

this game is a full conversion with motion controls unlike re7 that only uses ds4, tho i still think re7 is a better vr game, but will see once they release it.

Sometimes it's nice to just press a button and know your gun will reload rather than having to fumble around with a manual reload on a finnicky motion controller. I appreciate RE7 VR for that.
