Microsoft has now released a new trailer featuring the graphical changes from the original's Xbox 360 release, to the upcoming one for Xbox Series. Devs tease game's connection to other Remedy-developed games.
I'll be playing it for the first time on PS5 👍
Not sure why you got disliked. I mean, it’s a hell of a great game and I’m glad you’ll get to play it.
If you look through his comment history... you'll know why. Its just the way people are on this site. holding grudges over petty stuff.
It's probably because it's coming to the PS5. Alan Wake always felt like an Xbox exclusive to me. The game is a classic to me. I like the fact that they referenced Stephen King in this game
He goes around shilling Sony all day.
Because he's a giant Sony shill. He pretty much doesn't know how to make a comment without being a giant free billboard for the company. There's having a preference, and then there's his comment history.
It's why they should just be done with agree and disagree buttons there literally pointless.
I agree 100%. Put the games on as many platforms as possible. Multi-console gamer for the win.
Shills shouldn't go around calling others shills. That is not nice!
I had it on my 360 so will be playing on the PS5 as well. Hopefully they make use of the Dualsense
I'll be doing the same thing. I can play it right now on my Series S (360 ver) but when it comes to remakes & remasters, I tend to get them on a system I didnt already have it for.
@Darth Exactly. Played it on my 360 and Xbox One and hoping to try it on the PS5
I do the same. Looking forward to having this platinum along my 1500 G-score.
I'm getting it on PS4 and Switch (once that inevitable reveal and release occurs). Alan Wake was the main reason I got a 360 back in the day.
Played it on 360 and PC for years now. Looking forward to the enhancements. Glad you will be enjoying it. It's a definite classic at this point.
I mean, definitely an improvement (when compared to the 360 in this video), but having played it on PC (maybe with a sprinkle of nostalgia) its doesnt look a whole lot different, revised lighting (obvious in some scenes, barely in others) and some character model tweaks. I'd understand had a new game been announced, but just kinda seems like a quick n easy cash in.
Well, the PC port is very bad and the game never actually released on PlayStation. I think its a great move even if it's not a proper remake, looks a lot better already! I will be playing it again for sure,
When I played it on PC, maybe around 7 or 8 years ago, it played and looked great on PC at the time. I didn't have any problems. I can't remember if I played it in 1440p or 1080P, but I do remember it was in 60fps with vsync turned off.
It was actually a great PC port that still holds up to today, so not sure what you're on about.
PC port was fine ignore tronyx12 https://www.eurogamer.net/a... Digital Foundry at the time said they came away impressed with it. This 'remaster' doesn't really look a lot better. It does indeed look a great deal like the 9 year old PC game re-released. Marginal nips and tucks. I played it on PC waaaaaaaaaaaaay back when and it ran just fine at 1080p and 60FPS. I ran it on a GTX680. https://www.youtube.com/wat... Here is some gameplay on a machine with similar specs to the one I used at the time. Bear in mind this was a year before PS4 or Xbox One launched.
The music they chose for this trailer is beautiful.
Wonder if this was what the AWE dlc teased. I hope it's still a sequel rather than it just being a remaster
Looking good but I preordered already.
Def getting this on PC, think about the mods that will bring ray tracing and don't forget reshade to make it look so much better than stock.
Looks more like a PS4 level remaster, rather than a PS5/Series X level remaster. An improvement, but not to the levels that we should be seeing for PS5/Series X.
I'm getting it for PS4 at launch but also eagerly awaiting it's announcement for Switch which was recently leaked
First, If you never played Alan Wake then by all means do because it's probably the best-hidden gem of the 360 Era (and the 2 DLC are awesome). Now It's great to see the improvement between the 360 version probably running on a 360 and the new remaster but honestly, there's not a lot vs the actual PC version of Alan wake that ppl got for free on Epic Game store or collector edition version from Steam (that include the dev comments). Still knowing me I'll probably play the game again for the 5th time (I already own 5 copies of that game that a disc and digital version on 360, a disk version on PC and 2 digital version on PC).
Sounds like me with Doki Doki Literature Club Plus.. digital on PS4 and Switch and also pre-orders for physical versions as well 😅 .. but after playing it for the first time in July it overtook The Last of Us as my all time favorite game.
I cant wait to play this again
seems similair level of remaster to ME1
Looking forward to this. Had the collectors edition on 360. But never actually played it. I think I played the demo though.
Not good enough to convince me for a 3th run.
Game had a lot of potential shame it didn't go too far. It's really good kinda like an offbeat Silent Hill but better than 80 percent of them
