They probably would have given it a 10/10 if they could have experienced it with the Dualsense controller. 😔

CaptainHenry91667d ago (Edited 67d ago )

The dualsense controller does work for some Steam games, but it's limited. The only thing I don't like is that it has to be in wired mode for it to work 🙄😑

PS 5 is PCIe 4 via the motherboard, offering Wifi 6,

and superspeed USB awa SSD.. PCs are old tech, even the PS 4 cannot do Dualsense... Even though the PS 4 camera which attaches to mobo with a special input

HD Camera and PS Camera (with adaptor)
HD Camera or PlayStation®Camera (with a PlayStation®Camera adaptor) should be connected to a Superspeed USB port. You can connect your HD Camera or PS Camera (with an adaptor) to the USB Type-C port on the front of your PS5 console, or one of the USB Type-A ports on the back of your PS5 console.

Please note, HD Camera and PS Camera (with an adaptor) are not compatible with the USB Type-A port on the front of a PS5 console.***

Need superspeed, not regular USB. A usb "dongle" wouldn't work as the PC is last gen. A limited controller is the PS 4 controller. You can play any PS 5 game on the PS 4 and vice versa via Remote Play, even in 4K 60 native on the Pro. A 4K TV Processor will upsample PS 4 to 4K/HDR

however Dual Sense is a no-no.

@mikey

Is this a joke? PCIe 4.0, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5, USB 3.2, USB-C, etc., are all available on PC. Where do you think the parts came from for these new consoles?

Is this a joke?***

Is it inaccurate?? Or is the Bator race getting angry because it cannot handle the truth.. I explained why it DIDN'T work, so why aren't you telling CaptainHenry and all your little bator bots how to get it to work and prove me wrong little boy ... If you had done that I would have apologised... instead of making me now have to rip you a new one.... Which I take no pleasure in doing. Any more than the other time[s] lolol

***PCIe 4.0, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5, USB 3.2, USB-C, etc., are all available on PC. Where do you think the parts came from for these new consoles?***

The Cell processor adoption to PS 4. Does the Windows Console have all the same features kid?? Does the Wickel PC use a single GDDR 5/6 RAMpool, or is Executable/VRAM 2 different stages cluelesss??? Do PCs come with 4K Bluray as standard DEMANDING that they are at least capable of 1080p/16:9??

The Cell is based on the HETEROGENOUS System Architecture as is the PS 4, it was adapted into the PS 4s Jaguar architecture

AMD
As of February 2015, only AMD's "Kaveri" A-series APUs (cf. "Kaveri" desktop processors and "Kaveri" mobile processors) and Sony's PlayStation 4 allowed the integrated GPU to access memory via version 2 of the AMD's IOMMU. Earlier APUs (Trinity and Richland) included the version 2 IOMMU functionality, but only for use by an external GPU connected via PCI Express.[citation needed]***

Where for the first time the IOMMU [Input Output Memory Management Unit] for CPU + GPU, is stored in the CPU HARDWARE at low level.... If you look up IOMMU + AMD, first up

ALL Ryzens 1-5xxx support it, which makes the PS 4 the father of Ryzen and the Cell its grandpa. If you look up PCIE 4 child..

https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

AMD announced on 9 January 2019 its upcoming Zen 2-based processors and X570 chipset would support PCIe 4.0.[70] AMD had hoped to enable partial support for older chipsets, but instability caused by motherboard traces not conforming to PCIe 4.0 specifications made that impossible.[71][72]***

It clearly states that Zen 2 based processors [aka Ryzens] and the x570 chipset, but not older PCIe mobos... Which little bot is why UNLIKE PEECEE fanboys we have had to wait 8 months or more, for the PC industry to get it right and Sony open up the PCIE 4 port for access..

porkChop66d ago (Edited 66d ago )

Ah ok, I get it. So you're either a troll that's trying way too hard or you just don't know wtf your talking about. You're literally making zero sense.

I mean you bring up PCIe 4 and the X570 chipset, and then say that's why Sony waited so long to unlock the NVMe slot. Here's the thing: X570 motherboards came out over two years ago, and we had faster NVMe drives on the market before the PS5 even released. Sony waited so long because they chose to, they weren't waiting on hardware because the hardware was already out.

And the reason the Dualsense support is so limited on PC is because Sony haven't released official drivers yet. Steam has their own built-in drivers for the controller, but it's in beta. That's why only the Steam versions of these PC games have support for the controller features.

Ad hominem attack from who cannot understand a blind thing. You were the one trolling me kid, on a perfectly polite logical answer to captain henry. So off we go again..

***And the reason the Dualsense support is so limited on PC is because Sony haven't released official drivers yet.***

PS 3/4/5 are FreeBSD clownboy not Windows... as I stated clueless, you can run any PS 5 game on PS 4 and vice versa via REMOTE PLAY.. However the Dualsense won't work on the PS 4 as the drivers are in HARDWARE which isn't available on PS 4. If even SONY can't get Dualsense running via Bluetooth 5 on the PS 4, it has to be a HARDWARE feature.. Which is PART of the next gen PCIE 4 chipset. Sony first started using Bluetooth 5 in their Xperia phones in 2017.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

Bluetooth 5
The Bluetooth SIG released Bluetooth 5 on 6 December 2016. Its new features are mainly focused on new Internet of Things technology. Sony was the first to announce Bluetooth 5.0 support with its Xperia XZ Premium in Feb 2017 during the Mobile World Congress 2017.[99]***

Thats Android not your silly wickel PeeCee.

Its not a perfect game though. There's quite a few things wrong with it. The basic combat and bad puzzle design being the most obvious.

dbcoops66d ago

The puzzle design is actually really good and the combat is only basic if you play basic, using her upgraded bow, staff and protective shield in various ways all lend to a more dynamic combat system its just some people get bogged down in light and heavy attacks and do little else and then complain about the combat.

Rebel_Scum66d ago

@dbcoops puzzles where your only option is to brute force the solution is not good puzzle design.

I use the bow due to the time slow mechanic quite a bit. Its as shallow as any Ass Creed game tbh.

Watched it on YouTube .....first few levels remind me of Knack then it became "Boring" after repetitive jumping.
Don't bash me guys only giving my "personal opinion" of observation.
Disappointing....yes.

northpaws66d ago

I wish I can experience games by just watching them like you, then I don't need to spend money on consoles or games, what a dream. /s

dbcoops66d ago

Yeah I could see how watching other people play games could become boring. smh

XxINFERNUSxX66d ago

Playing it on PC now with reshade it looks so much better. Using a Steelseries Stratus Duo it's great. Has no rumble but I don't care about that I usually just turn it off in games anyway. No need to spend 60$+ on a controller, this one I bought new off ebay for under 40$. For anyone on PC I would say check the controller out 😀🎮

1nsomniac66d ago (Edited 66d ago )

? That controller retails for £65 ($89)….

Not having a dig either, just interested, but why would anyone use that controller over the undoubtably normal controller they already use. There doesn’t appear to be any real selling point feature that I can see…

At some point I’ll be wanting to replace my old xbox360 pad for my pc. Just been having a look at it on their website. Seems like a very basic controller with an extremely inflated RRP

XxINFERNUSxX66d ago

Maybe when the controller first came out it was that much but now it's even cheaper than when I bought it on ebay brand new: https://www.ebay.com/itm/32...

1nsomniac66d ago

Here in the UK eBay are listing broken or bad conditioned refurbs for £40. New or second hand working pads are still listed £50-£65.

That seems like a crazy difference in price. Just shows how much we get screwed over in the UK.
