"Will vary from player to player. It will depend on which difficulty level you choose, how many collectibles you want to find, and whether you skip all the cutscenes. However, as a rough estimate, we'd say the game will take you between 8 to 12 hours to reach the end.

If you want to invest a bit more time in order to find all the collectibles and explore the world as much as possible, you could add on a few more hours to that figure. One of the game's Trophies requires you to play through the game a second time on the hardest difficulty, so if you want to get all the Trophies and the Platinum, you'll be playing through it at least twice."

~10 hours is all I want a main story of any game to last.

bouzebbal1339d ago

Cannot be shorter than Moss on psvr.. was brilliant but so dang short

CobraKai1339d ago

I think 10 is a good. Not too short. Not too long.

Spenok1339d ago

I definitely want some games to be only this long, but I do love my epics though. So I'd say it depends on what I'm in the mood for.

@spenok,

For larger questing games, I still want the primary story to be short. Endless sidequests is totally fine and welcomed. Few, several-hour long sidequests would be even better... i want that main story to be beatable in a weekend. then i can keep coming back for sidequests, etc.

The reception around this feels similar to Hellblade-if-Pixar.

Similar length in a focused story, combat is simple but the world around your character and the way it's presented hooks you in, and it's appropriately-priced.

I'm glad for the Ember team putting out something brand new so well-received.

Console Obsession says: "With Kena: Bridge of Spirits having been previously released on PS5 and PS4, it would have been easy to look up information to know what sort of game I was letting myself in for. But I decided to go in cold and experience the game without knowing much about it. "
