I can do it faster
46 hours later.
It is minutes not hours
said your wife!
I want a dlc so bad
Just replayed it 2 days ago and it took me 8-10 hours to beat it. But i am checking every room though. So much fun. Still game if the year for me.
Great game. Playing it now after a few months away.
I still need to beat Act 2 and 3...
Speed runs in games like this are truly special because another gamer with less skill could get a faster time on just luck. Likewise, a more skilled player could take longer just on bad luck like me. My first run I beat the first two bosses without dying. After that, the first room or two everytime was like insane and I swear I had to check every single room for the damn key after that.
This game... wow just wow the adrenaline rush I get from this game is unreal! Returnal is the first game ever where after continuous dying over and over I just smile and jump back in for more. So glad I stayed persistent after taking me 25 hours and 67 deaths to beat the first boss 🤣 Im on biome 3 now after beating Ixion yesterday woohoo!
I really need to get back to this game, I got to the 3rd world a few times and then got distracted with something else. What I have played of it was excellent though.
This game deserves more recognition. I've heard a lot of bad things about it and a really disagree. "2 hours in a single run" = my longest was 40 min. My endgame 30 min "No sense of progression" = didnt play the game. A lot of things are permanent, you keep for the next run "Story is unclear and open ended" = its not direct, but with some effort its clear and have an ending "Too dificult" = sorry, its not. Its unbalaced, but not that hard
I am going to partly agree with you here on the fact you said its not that hard. I think it is a hard game that requires skill and alot of quick decision making but once you get the grips of things it definitely gets easier. An example would be me lol It took me 67 deaths and 25 hours to finally beat phrike. Now because I died so much but LEARNT where I was messing up I can now clear the whole of biome 1 - every room and enemy beaten in just over 10 minutes and that was just being steady - not even rushing through it. So yh its hard at first but when you get to grips with the game it gets a lot easier - saying that I am still on biome 3 and its kicking my ass 🤣 but I get further and further every play I have!
Should be on PC as well. It would sell really well.
Christ, I have no idea how long it took me to do several runs to find the last symbol in Biome 6. I know I was on the verge of losing my mind though
That rare audio file in Biome 1 was the longest one for me. Replayed the the first biome for a couple of hours to get my platinum. Thank god for podcasts... And the goddamn audio file was just explaining what parasites did! True testament to how fun the game is to play.😁
This is Helios!!!!!
Okay that's amazing. 46 minutes means he didn't go to side rooms most likely. Which means he likely had very few artifacts and was working primarily off whatever weapons he finds off enemies and chests. Which also means he dodges most if not all attacks. I can do 3 biomes in 46 minutes but not 6 biomes
He literally just runs straight through everything, he only kills the required enemies that are required to remove the area lockdown and heads on straight to each boss. Crazy skills! The way this player dealt with Phrike made me embarrassed for me and my multitude of failures before beating him lol
I found all bosses pretty straightforward. Not one of them killed me on my first try...i was always beat them. Overall i enjoy the bosses
I’m on the last biome. I suck against one of the new enemies, but I love it.
