Makes a good point. That's why PlayStation 4's single player experiences dominated so hard in sales. It's also why Halo 5 and Halo Infinite don't even have cooperative play which is widely considered sacrilegious for a Halo game. Mario Party is definitely not the mascot of video games in the 21st century.

Eonjay35d ago

Obviously he did not just say that. The title is misquoting him for dramatic effect. Don't be gullible guys.

rockwhynot35d ago (Edited 35d ago )

I would edit my comment to have cooperative play replaced with "split screen co- op" and mascot with "face of gaming." I stand by the rest of my remark.

CaptainHenry91636d ago (Edited 36d ago )

I didn't know Halo Infinite won't have co-op? Has that been confirmed?

DaDrunkenJester35d ago

Halo Infinite will have splitscreen and online co-op, just not at launch. They delayed the feature because it wasn't working properly, but they say they will have it ready within the first content pack which is up to 3 months.

CaptainHenry91635d ago (Edited 35d ago )

That's still unacceptable, though. This game has been in development for 6 years; everything should already be included at launch, especially since it's been delayed twice 😑 😂

TheLigX35d ago

It will have online co op. No split screen.

Atom66635d ago

You commented on it when it was announced. You already did the whole "concerned trolling" thing.

Halo 5 has 4 player co-op, just online, no splitscreen. Halo Infinite will be getting splitscreen and online co-op after launch around 3 months.

majority have family and friends, don't know what you talking about,

JelloCorn35d ago (Edited 35d ago )

GTA V is by far the best selling ps4 game, and the top 10 is dominated by cod. I would also point out Fortnite is the most played ps4 game. Mind you those single player fans are valuable, many of them buy a lot of games.

Title is kinda clickbait.

roadkillers36d ago

Today they see you as the hero, tomorrow they will see you as the villain.

(They = Media)

Eonjay35d ago

Alot of time they don't have interesting stories so now they try to engineer them themselves.

SenorFartCushion35d ago

What does that make the media in the public eye?

roadkillers34d ago (Edited 34d ago )

^ The messenger? No one kills the messenger, maybe that's why there's a constant barrage of **** articles. Plus, anyone can do it and upload something. Makes it that much harder to deligate

Unknown_Gamer579435d ago

Kinda? It is click bait. This is hardly the first time Kojima has been misquoted and it won’t be the last, but it makes for an enticing headline every time.

NukeDaHippies36d ago

"I think there is an aspect of games that lonely people play"

Is what he actually said. I know it's clickbait, but they twisted his remark to sound like an insult to gamers as a whole, which is disgusting.

exputers36d ago

The title was mistyped on N4G and approved too quickly before making changes. No disrespect or twisting in whatever Kojima said. It's a human error.

NukeDaHippies36d ago

Pretty hard to believe when the article on site was updated only a few mins ago.

drizzom35d ago

It did its job. The clicks were claimed. Now they can backpedal after taking profit.

TheDoomedGuy35d ago

No title is set. Admins or whoever could go and change it.

dbcoops35d ago (Edited 35d ago )

"Mistyping" and approving too quickly seems to be a recurring problem.

Even if it was real I can’t see how it is insulting to anyone, be they game players or people who feel a bit lonely.
