Report: Spider-Man 4 gameplay from unreleased movie tie-in game swings out, giving a glimpse at the unmade Sam Raimi sequel's video game!
From Comicbook: "Back in 2010, it was rumored for a while that Radical Entertainment, a now defunct Activision-owned subsidary, was working on the next Spider-Man game. That rumor was soon shot down when Activision announced that the next game of that year, Shattered Dimensions, would be developed by Beenox. But now, thanks to new information, we now know that Radical was indeed working on a game featuring the webhead, & it was Spider-Man 4."
This is true but that game out 8 years after 2010, it had ALOT of time to improve.
There's no real way to compare a licensed movie game from 2010 with a licensed full fledged major studio game from 2018.
It is a game from 2010 what are you expecting? The game to look like Insomniacs Spider Man back in 2010?
I'm not talking about visuals. I'm talking about how good the game will be since Activision was know to publish some pretty poor Spiderman game.
Radical entertainment wasn't known for making excellent superhero games but they did have a few good ones.

After the two abomination of films called the Amazing Spiderman I kinda wished Spiderman 4 was made instead.
They weren't abomonations at all.. you guys are soo dramatic! were they average movies hell yeahh they were even below average for the most part ! Did they have good elements? They had GREAT elements... but were the movies what they should have been ABSOLUTELY NOT!! the movies had a lot wrong with them but also did quite a few things right tbh... you want someone to blame for the lack of Spider-Man 4 blame Avi Arad!!! and if you dont know who that is then this conversation is pointless looool
The second one i wouldnt say was garbage... IT was average as hell with some great elements..
The Amazing Spider-Man movies left a lot to be desired, but they were by no means abominations.
There appears to be an interesting web mechanics. Looks very good for it's age too Imo. Imagine what they could've done with today's technology.

It saddens me that we never got Spider-Man 4. The Amazing Spider-Man movies were a waste of time.
And maybe Radical Entertainment would still be in business if this game released. It's funny that this footage seems to have physics-based webslinging which the The Amazing Spider-Man games lacked.
