what even is a native port? The entire basis of native is that it's the unaltered original which a port can never be.

It means tailor made for the specific hardware, right now the game basically runs like it would on a ps4, it has long load times, crashes and other problems but a version made to take advantage of the ps5 power could be much better, they could probably drastically improve the visuals too.

This is one of my fav rpgs but it's kind of a pain to play it on consoles, would love this rumor to be true

I'll just call this an optimized port and call games that have been build from the ground up for a system with it being the lead platform a native game.

thanks for explaining.
This game has been on my to play list for so long now along with pillars of eternity.
