Ember Lab's highly-anticipated action-adventure Kena: Bridge of Spirits that's due to launch later this month on PS4, PS5, and PC will not get a sequel according to the studio.
"Kena: Bridge of Spirits is beautiful, filled with charm and whimsy, and nails its gameplay - a welcome addition to the Xbox library."

Console Obsession says: "With Kena: Bridge of Spirits having been previously released on PS5 and PS4, it would have been easy to look up information to know what sort of game I was letting myself in for. But I decided to go in cold and experience the game without knowing much about it. "
Richard writes: "As Xbox gamers, we are sometimes late to the party. But that’s ok, as patience is a good quality to have. And patient gamers have been rewarded today as Kena: Bridge of Spirits has finally arrived on Xbox consoles for us all to play."
We’ll that’s disappointing to hear especially if it turns out great.
The game isn't even out yet, they also don't rule out the possibility.
This isn't the movie industry where they sometimes plan out the movies in advance.
If the game does well, sells well, they will change their tune about a sequel.
I can only assume they will look into it once the first game is out.
This is unfortunate, but realistic given this is a studio with under 20 people that mostly do commercials and short films and stuff. This is their first attempt at a game.
