Bethesda shares more about the worlds of Starfield, with new details on three very different locations: Akila, Neon and New Atlantis.
More, I need mooore.
An Epic Masterpiece in the making! Holydays 2022 can´t come soon enough Here´s the 3 videos with the three cities: New Atlantis https://www.youtube.com/wat... Neon https://www.youtube.com/wat... Akila https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Probably wise to temper expectations, Cyberpunk was a "Masterpiece in the making" as well and we all know how that turned out.
New Atlantis gave me Mass Effect's Citadel vibes.
Akila gives me Star Wars vibes. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hyped for this game.
@dbcoops "Probably wise to temper expectations, Cyberpunk was a "Masterpiece in the making" as well and we all know how that turned out." It´s a Todd Howard´s game. An Industry veteran and multi-awarded director/producer creating a new IP in a genre that he knows very well. So, feel free and remain skeptical. I rather continue hyped, because I know Starfield will be one of the games that will define this generation.
Lets see how this goes.
Yes, but do the spaceships fly backwards after a patch? Lol, all Skyrim jokes aside. I do hope they take a considerable amount of time squashing out bugs. Always loved Elder Scrolls and Fallout, but man it can be hard sometimes with all the game-breaking glitches. I still mourn for my 140 hour save on Fallout 3 that corrupted when I was only an hour or two away from getting the platinum trophy haha. High hopes for this one though, for sure. Definitely keeping my eye on it.
Completely agree! For me, it practically became second nature in Bethesda games to create multiple manual saves every time I felt I had progressed a good deal.
The fact that they have already stated their ship date probably means they are in bug squashing mode already. You don't give an exact ship date if you aren't confident you are in a position to make it. Especially with a ship date over one year away.
The fact that they are close to one year from release and only have concept art to show off in trailer probably means things aren't all that smooth. This will be Cyberpunk all over again.
@Adrian_c01 Fair enough. But, Starfield seems to be in much better shape to me then Cyberpunk. They delayed CyberPunk several times before release. Starfield has not yet seen a delay.
There’s still game breaking bugs in Skyrim that have been there since day one (10 years ago this November)… they’re a ship first, fix when we want company. I wouldn’t count on them taking more than the minimum effort when bug testing with Starfield.
Bethesda is updating/upgrading the engine finally. I don't think we'll have the same glitches and bugs found in older titles.
Only shipping on one console and MS money should help with some of he bugs testing/fixing. Hyped for this game, cant wait.
Take the videos dial them back by 60-70% and thats what youll get hence the concept. Not to mention itll probably get delayex
so excited for this this.
I’m hoping this lives up to expectations. I’m also hoping it’s not one of those “release what’s done so far” type of affair. Also I’m hoping I have a series x by then
