KeenGamer: "What's the best Yakuza game? With so many games in this formerly niche Japanese series, it's time to take a look at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios' catalogue and rank which games reign above others. The Yakuza series has been subject to many memes due to its wackiness and goofy side activities, but the games also feature a dark storyline with serious characters."
Steam's annual Summer Sale is here again, and here's a couple of great deals for fans of Japanese games who aren't sure what to get!
Like a Dragon's recently-released GOG ports have removed the names of several developers who no longer work on the series from the credits, including series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi and producer Daisuke Sato.
Every single Yakuza game has over-the-top action and high-octane fights, and these are our picks for the most badass moments from the Yakuza games.
they're all gems, that's like a parent choosing between their children
All the Yakuza games are great but I'd only agree with this list in the fact that Yakuza 0 is clearly the best game in the series. It's actually in my top 5-10 favorite games of all time.
I love this series and every one of them. Like a Dragon is my favorite, but honestly they’re all excellent.
Another flawed list, and typical to rate Yakuza 0 as first. You cannot replace Yakuza 2 with Yakuza Kiwami 2, they are not the same game with the story altered/rushed with no where near the same impact.
I get many have come into the series as new fans but if you were fortunate enough to play them in order as they released over the 15 years then you would know Yakuza 2 is hands down still the best.
