Midway has really been hit by some hard times during this downward summit of the economy, it's about $240 million in debt. And it's changing ownership giving the publisher's debtors a chance to call in their loans. But if the publisher can endure this beating, it may find a "hot tag" waiting for it on the other side.
Recently on a TNA post show Jeremy Borash stated that TNA was working on a new Ipad video game while Kurt Angle also stated the same on his twitter account so WrestlingGamer.com decided to discuss on why TNA should come out with preferably a console game and ways they could improve on their previous console release.

GameSpot writes: "Midway is suffering a bit of a beating lately, with controlling shareholder Sumner Redstone selling his majority stake in the company for a paltry $100,000, and the change of ownership giving the publisher's debtors a chance to call in their loans. A Midway representative today confirmed for GameSpot that the publisher's 2009 slate includes not only the Vin Diesel-starring Wheelman, but also the second installment of the TNA iMPACT! franchise. He did not address platforms or features for the game."
That didn't take long...Good for them, hopefully they can climb out of their debt.
