Business Wire writes: Supergiant Games’ stylish roguelike Hades was honored by the game development community as the recipient of the Game of the Year award at tonight’s 21st annual Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA) ceremony.
Hades has made history for indie games. Except TGA, it has now won every award ceremony- New York Game Awards, SXSW, BAFTA, DICE and now GDC. Especially against AAA giants last year.
Journey already did that.
Journey did not win all the big ceremonies. It won DICE and GDC, not Bafta, VGA or New York Choice Awards. Plus Journey's biggest competitor was Walking Dead, whereas Hades had TLOU2. There is literally no comparison.
Enzo Except journey was the universal goty. Tlou2 was the universal winner this year. Before you come out with cherry picked stats tlou2 won 300 plus goty awards.
No it wasn't. Walking Dead won the most gotys that year.
Doki Doki Literature Club already did that too
Fun game, but repetitive and overrated.
Calling a roguelite repetitive :/
Hades: 93 Metacritic. Persona 5 Royal: 95 Metacritic. So Persona 5R is the better game.
