Pokemon Unite microtransactions make this new Pokemon-themed MOBA a pay-to-win game — players can buy stat-boosting items with premium currency.
I was actually considering giving this a go but I think it's a pass for me now.
No thanks think I'll pass on the pay to win game
the game itself is not bad, but even after an hour of playing, people had already really overpowered pkmn lol its fun at first but the game to win aspect ruins it for you. its also english and 50shadesof japanese only.
It's alright! It's Nintendo after all!
The game is developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by The Pokémon Company. So when you see the word “Pokemon” you can’t immediately scream NINTENDO, because after all Nintendo only own a part of Pokemon.
I dont see how its pay to win. Everything can be earned very easily and dont matter to much, its most about skills. Why does buying the 10k Pokémons mean win ? Im using the free ones and Get mvp and wins all the time. If there is a balance issue, thats normal when a moba is released, and there will be meta Pokémons always down the road, just like in LoL and dota.
I checked a stream yesterday to see what it was like. The streamer spent 100$ to up some items. Hard pass for me, thanks :)
