Ubisoft says the “ambitious" project is in the "early stages of development”…
Alright then 😅 not
The last few AC have been decent, but I'm burned out on them. Ubi should try their hand at Prince of Persia again.
You do realize that AC is the spiritual successor to PoP, right?! AC1 started out as a PoP game before they developed it into a new IP.
Ahhhh that makes sense now that I think about it.
Lol at disagree for FACTS: https://news24viral.com/did... Gamers these days... they just hate facts lol
What rich narrative experience? I havent seen that since AC III
I had the exact same thought. The story has been trash since the end of Desmond's story arch. Everything has felt like a rushed after-thought, any cheap excuse they can come up with for a new game with a sloppy and poorly thought out story. Furthermore, since Origins, the story has basically betrayed the core principles of the series, where you were supposed to view your ancestors memories, but now just put on some tiny VR goggles and you can see anyone and everyone's past. Making each endeavour less personal and less impactful for the person in the modern era. Ugh, and don't get me started on how terrible the modern era story has become. The first person segments in Black Flag and Rogue went nowhere. What happened to the 'Sage that never ages' or the ancient spirit of Juno that now lives inside Abstergo's servers? No one knows, plot thread left dangling. What happened to Rebecca and Shaun after Syndicate? No one knows, plot thread left dangling. Who is Bishop, what was her purpose of finding the burial of some dead French guy? No one knows, plot thread left dangling. Then the later games were honestly worse, Origins was boring, just another basic revenge plot that wasn't explained why anyone wanted to abduct Bayek's son in the first place. I bursted out loud laughing at the corny ending as well, when the baby bird skull hit the sand, which was meant to explain the 'Assassin's logo'. It was supposed to be an emotional and revelatory moment which ended up being unintentionally comedic. Odyssey's story was basically, "where's my Mommy?" for 40 hours of a boring slogfest. Everyone in the game was an annoying douchebag, and for the first time I've ever seen in gaming history, the game's story spoils itself. I got the 'secret ending' before the 'main ending' which caused the main ending to be spoiled for me. I didn't know that you were supposed to get the endings in the correct order. What a sloppily designed mess. I skipped Valhalla, good riddance to this pathetic series.
What part of GaaS games do you not understand that people don’t like?
Gaas are the most popular titles and make more money than other games barring a few AAA blockbusters. I don't mind Gaas as long as its not shoved in your face ie if I buy a new assassins creed and bring the map up I don't want to see an extra map shown but you can't click on it and it takes you to store page. That's the gaas I hate
Assassin's Creed articles always bring the haters out. I can't wait to see how they follow up Valhalla. Such a great game that some people seem to think is just more of the same and "not Assassin's Creed" lol It's BETTER than is every been... Fight me!
what i liked about the new assassins creed was the settings, egypt, greece, england etcet super rich in history. If it's always the same world then im out
Only $750.99 for the full AC experience +$350vat conditions apply
This is the first AC game that I want to fail
Game will be aswesome! Ill take it over all the Cods Fortnite clones and FTP games that suckers keep paying for. Sad that haters gonna hate the best. oh well, yall didnt even PLAY Valhalla. If you did, yud know that shit was a MASTERPIECE in story telling and Gameplay. If AC is "So BAD", why TF is Nintendo copying it for their Zelda reboot with BotW?! Aounuma stated many times he absolutely loved the AC games and that is why they borrowed so HEAVILY for BotW. You cannot even fathom the greatness of Valhalla CUZ ALL YOU SHITALKERS DIDNT EVEN PLAY IT!!!!
Like how Watch Dogs: Legion was "ambitious" and "true to the franchise"? Because that's the feeling I'm getting from this.
