Can’t tell much of a difference by looking on my phone.

I think it might be down to how much is being reflected. In at least the 1st two cases, you can see cars in the post patch picture where none are present in the pre-patch. The quality of the reflections, on the face of it, look pretty similar, so I'm guessing it's down to improvements to the cutoff point of what is being reflected.

EDIT: then again, I'm now seeing at least 1 taxi in the lower portion of the second shot pre-patch so...yeah, I don't know lol. Maybe this is a case where it is more noticeable on your screen, and screenshots just don't do a resolution bump on reflections justice.

The difference is the original graphics settings looked pretty good. The new RT enhanced settings, will melt your eyes from their sockets like a jack black guitar solo!!!!

The one with the American Flag probably shows the best, but there's a slight bit more detail in the RT reflections.

Honestly, I'm going to assume this is work they are doing to put towards the next game in two years or so.

The 5 best games on PlayStation Plus Premium that make subscribing worth it

The PS5 is an incredible console, and if you're lucky enough to have one, or have just received one for Christmas then you'll already know there is a host of great games out there.

What you may not be aware of is that if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium, you'll actually get access to a huge catalogue of titles to play at any time. Many of which you can stream without having to do any downloads. If you have a PlayStation Portal you could even play these titles from your bed.

Damn the only one I’ve played so far is Miles Morales, although I do own Control and Rift Apart.

ChasterMies103d ago

Odd list. Where is Horizon Forbidden West? Ghost of Tsushima? Demon’s Souls? Returnal? And fun indie games like Superliminal? Where’s “A Plage Tale Requiem” and “Evil West”, the current PS+ Essential offerings?

Exvalos91d ago

Evil west is underrated I'm having a really good time playing it.

Like seriously? Those are games Extra Tier can get - so not worth upgrading to Premium
