Insomniac Games never cease to amaze me.

Even more amazing if this improvement makes its way down to Remastered. Crazy productive studio.

See no reason it wouldnt. But just imagine if this is what they can do on their first gen titles how amazing is spiderman 2 gonna be or hell any game they do thats ps5 only

I'm guessing implementing what they learned from R&C, dope!

LucasRuinedChildhood199d ago (Edited 199d ago )

Definitely. The large increase in RT reflection resolution in R&C over MM (for the performance modes) was discussed in a Digital Foundry interview with one of the lead developers. The optimization actually came in the Day 1 update so they've managed to apply this to MM in a very short timeframe.

Insomniac is such an amazing studio. I can stop saying this.

jukins199d ago

At this moment in time theirs no better developer. 3 games 8 months ticking all the next gen features?!?!

Gardenia198d ago

More importantly; this means we can see good RT combined with 60fps for other games as well in the future. A pretty big deal if you ask me.

jukins198d ago

Huge deal and if fidelity fx is works out well could be having our minds blown before too long

archibold199d ago

Eh, is this a positive news article for PS5?

Not interested! - n4g

Dude, there a two types of «news» to attack sony. The first is the price of the games and the second is the upgrades. They have nothing more to grab. So they milked beyond belief anything related with that.
