Jacob writes: "An uninspired wave-survival shooter with bland enemy and level design, significant balancing issues and a real lack of replayability - you’ll only need to play through it about four times and you’ll have seen just about everything Bitmaster really has to offer. It’s a shame because Bitmaster actually controls really well and the RNG gameplay could have been the foundation for something fun and replayable."

When that twin-sticker is both dynamic and super colourful, well, that helps too. It's with much excitement then that Bitmaster delivers some proper blasting onto Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch."
Games Asylum: "This twin-stick shooter stars a group of spiky-haired rebels on hoverboards. Although this does make a pleasant change from the usual non-descript spacecraft, while also recalling the ‘90s CGI show Reboot, it’s the first of many peculiar design choices. Not only do the hoverboards gain momentum, making changing direction tricky, but they also have a slight turning circle. In a genre heavily reliant on precision movement, a central character that slips and slides is almost unheard of."
