It was already know, that it'd be a PS5 console launch exclusive?

Nitrowolf21070d ago

You are right, we corrected that. It was just the wording from the Play Magazine saying it was exclusive.

garos821070d ago

this is all a little strange. wasnt this game revealed a few years back on the bethesda e3 show? how is it a ps exlusive?

TGGJustin1070d ago

It's exclusive for 1 year just like Deathloop. It will come to Xbox after that

ThatOneRiggaNob1070d ago

It's not strange at all? PS made a deal wtih Bethesda for this and another game before MS bought them and that contract is being honored.

purple1011070d ago

Yep. The first, and last 2 Bethesda games I will buy.

Because Microsoft didn’t buy Bethesda a few years back deal was already, Microsoft actually changed it but 🤷🏻‍♂️ Was due to be a console exclusive. Microsoft said they would honour all existing deals but they changed that one 😜🤣 then it became a timed exclusive but original videos from PlayStation experience *console exclusive.

Where was the game ever said to be a permanent exclusive.

Ausbo I’ve already quoted my source official PlayStation experience videos where desthloop was announced bottom of the videos Ps5 console exclusive. Anyone who thinks Microsoft would need Sony’s agreements when they’ve just spent $6 billion on the company is deluded Microsoft clearly stated they would stick to all current deals and clearly changed this particular one. Research it yourself it’s all there in black and white on the Internet.

To prove I’m talking facts…

Why would Bethesda confirm it was still a Ps5 exclusive if it was never a Ps5 exclusive haha it was also listed on their very own website for a fair few weeks after the deal was announced yet only PC and PS5 were advertised on their website. Microsoft announced they wouldn’t interfere with any deals and what do you know it’s now a timed exclusive, Sony were generous 😑🤣 no. Microsoft pulled the strings they paying for it after all.

Hatchetforce Sony may have been consulted but if you don’t think a contract can be broken you are deluded footballers do it all the time sign a 5 year contract and then move teams within 2-3 years, mobile phone contracts can be bought out of im sure Microsoft after spending $6 billion could of and probably did just make a payment or refund any payments Sony made for their exclusivity and turned it to timed deal. Money talks. So does Microsoft 😑🤣

Pretty decent game, enjoyed it quite a bit. They really should have scaled it down a bit though, a bit too much open world padding for my liking.

But a sequel would be quite interesting if they get the balance right

This is old, sorry. Says "3H AGO" but it was available yesterday. Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition is now available for free, for another 13 hours or so then it changes.

Decent game for what it is. I quite enjoyed my playthrough.
