Seems kind of weird to do this for the first time without a new game.

They can't expand on Cyperpunk nobody is taking that game seriously anymore. Except couple of guys who like far cry or skyrim in reddit. They need trust of people back asap, the easiezt way to milk The Witcher, it us safe investments. Just like how Square Enix is using VII in all these years by releasing the same film 3 times, involve it in their every mobile games, Dissidia, involving it in Kingdom Hearts, releasing spin off to try different battle systems. And now releasing a Battle Royale that is exactly feels like PUBG but with super powers. In addition to being mysterious about Part 2 release date for sake of delivering low budget games.

But what if you're like me and you're not interested in The Witcher but you enjoy Cyberpunk (despite the flaws)?

Yeah it does seem kind of desperate, like a morale booster lol. It’s more for them than it is for us lol.

When I thought they did it every year I didn’t think twice about it. This is the first one though, if a new game isn’t shown it was obviously an attempt to stop the bleeding.

I would be very happy if they released the nest-gen patch for The Witcher 3 during the event. I know it won't happen, but it would be pretty damn awesome if they did.
